I know when I joined, I mentioned I really like and follow (and tail) Warren Sharp....some agreed, some didn't, or thought I was a schill, which I'm surely not.
Sooooo, this week they said Bill was going to open a site too, with picks, I guess if you are with Sharp, you will get a deal for his stuff.
He seems legit....anybody know?
Thanks a lot,
Jim

And if Krackman routinely citing Philly freaking Godfather of all people as "legit" (there aren't too many more obvious frauds out there as he routinely gives out stale lines claiming "his syndicate moved them", the guy is a recently convicted drug dealer FFS, all the pro bettors I know move 1200 pounds of weed in their spare time) isn't enough evidence, there's also this gem which former Pinny employee Justin7 / daringly confirmed to be true on RTP:

I guess it's ok to bet 150k in another person's account without their knowledge? If the bets lost you'd have to call a search party.
Anyone have any experience?
PGF and his "animals" are some of the most obvious scammers I've come across. For starters, essentially every play he ever gives out is at a stale line. Last year he was on some Chicago radio show and gave out a few NFL plays at completely bogus lines (like claiming +7 when the market was painted +5.5) and when a bunch of people called out the radio host for that BS, the host said "he was 4-1 last week!" as if that matters.
He justifies the BS with "I'm not a tout, I don't sell picks, I sell moves," but of course any idiot can win at this posting a college basketball side 1.5 points stale after a move. I've talked to a few customers of his who've shown me his "moves" and they're always just steam graded at a stale line, and there's a sucker born every minute because a lot of these people, when I explain "anyone can win giving themselves 1.5 points better on a CBB side", they'll say "Well I'm still following him because the picks are good." I've had similar experiences with his former business partner Vegas Runner / Greek Gambler / Ace / Gianni whichever alias he's using this week who does the same shtick.
Most of his "crew" are not even real people, he uses countless Twitter ghost accounts to promote himself (bizarrely he loves using Asian names like this one: https://twitter.com/KingKongofHongK , yeah all the pro bettors post stuff like this: https://twitter.com/KingKongofHongK/status/653318997467889664 ) and quite a few of his touts are just him or Baba using an alias.
I've also seen him post a bunch of times claiming "cut off from yet another account" with a screenshot like "account disabled, contact customer service" and mysteriously those accounts always have the same color background, font, etc. One of the more hilarious examples involved him posting a bunch of horse racing bets from one of the Triple Crown races, and he then deleted several of the losers claiming he hit the trifecta and/or the superfecta. I forget exactly what he claimed he hit, but he had his $100 bettor risking something like $9,600, and then he got the payout wrong. You'd think someone who actually bet it would know what his winner paid. When people started pointing that out, he deleted the first tweet and posted a "corrected payout" but he got that one wrong as well LOL.
And the piece de resistance, he was convicted of trafficking 1200 pounds of weed in Arizona not that long ago. (And ratted out his co-conspirators to get a lighter sentence, no honor among thieves I guess.) Strangely enough, none of the pro bettors I know who are "one of the biggest east coast betting syndicates" traffic narcotics in their spare time.
Edit: while I typically refrain from hearsay if anyone is deserving of having their name dirtied without due diligence it is PGF. Word is that he is pretty jammed up and slow paying a few guys throughout MLB.

When PGF gave out Bears +7 and Ravens -2.5, Pinny was dealing Bears +5.5 -106 and Ravens -3.5 +100 and neither had moved in the few hours before the show aside from Pinny adjusting from -3 -122 to -3.5 +100 which is negligible, so it's not like the line moved while he was waiting to appear on the air. And then here are a couple more of his ghost accounts I found quickly looking through his threads; these accounts are obvious ghosts since they exist to do little more than build PGF's retweet count. https://twitter.com/corvettemike24/status/776135078514561024 https://twitter.com/ChinChecker22/status/800445038417178624
And then here's another fake member of his "crew" "Chinamanbets" which is an obvious PGF ghost. https://twitter.com/Chinamanbets
But yeah, that standup guy Krackman sure is right that PGF is one of the legit touts out there.

He was released a while back. He was originally convicted about 10 years ago and given a sentence of 4.5 years, and his conviction was overturned on appeal due to a procedural issue. Rather than be retried, the state agreed to allow him to plead to a lesser charge in exchange for engaging in "free talk," which is the term used in Arizona to describe giving information about your co-conspirators. He served a few more months in jail and was released in 2009. PGF routinely lies and says "the state found him innocent" when the charges were overturned, which is untrue; the original conviction was overturned, so he pled guilty to lesser charges and ratted out his partners. The way he tells the story, he claims he was railroaded and immediately set free after "the state found him innocent."
Not that I agree with laws criminalizing pot, but a big syndicate pro bettor wouldn't need to traffic 1200+ pounds of it to pay the bills. I say the same thing about "pro bettor" Kelly in Vegas working as a pool party escort and golf caddy and whatever else she does because "it beats the summer grind of betting baseball." (Or, for that matter, serving as a proxy in the Westgate Supercontest while entering the contest herself, such a ridiculous conflict of interest I can't believe that's even allowed.)
Here are a few threads from this forum from a few years back where several posters say what I did, that he just posts stale lines:

http://www.bettingtalk.com/forum/showthread.php/175219-Philly-Godfather-update
And as mentioned in the one thread, PGF will do anything for publicity. Some ESPN writer talked to him prior to publishing a Billy Walters article two years ago and when PGF wasn't mentioned, he flipped out, publicly tweeting the guy's phone number and threatening him:
