Last place team whose bullpen is completely spent is laying it on the road. Dickey is in the middle of an off year.

    916 Royals +130
KC has won five in a row and Guthrie shut out Detroit in both of his home starts against them last year. Too much line value to pass up and worth a small bet, imo.

Still in Laughlin in the midst of 115 degree weather. Leaving for Jean tomorrow for a few nights at the Gold Strike. Then, traveling to Reno with a friend for two week, so hopefully there will be a good trip report to come out of that.

Just a small bet here. Scherzer seems a bit overrated, and KC's still on a winning streak. This isn't a particularly important series for Detroit.

POD on a pretty bland looking card. Cards continue to overachieve, and some regression to the mean has to occur at some point this summer.
I'm in Jean, and I'm still running very bad at bj, seemingly in the middle of a month long stretch where I havent won a single double down. It's all the more frustrating since I've been winning following several cappers online, but I've been losing all those profits at other things.

Can't pass up a chance to bet Harvey as a home dog. Almost overslept this one, but I sleep 100 feet from a sportsbook.

Want no part of a White Sox team that is clearly mediocre and laying it on the road again.

Left Jean at seven yesterday morning and started driving north. Stopped at the South Point to bet games, stopped in Beatty, made it to Tonopah for lunch and played video poker at the Banc Club for about an hour because the meter put one of the games at above 100 percent. Kept heading north, stopped in Hawthorne at the El Capitan, but there were no games open. Headed to Yerington, stopped in two places because we had heard there was a great blackjack game there, but it's apparently been removed. Headed west from there to Stateline, and I was barely able to recognize it. No good machines at all, and the sportsbooks all had the Harrah's line. Stopped at a Basque restaurant and had pan fried lamb. Headed from there to Carson City and checked in at the Nugget. Wound up flirting with the front desk clerk for twenty minutes. Something behind her eyes and lying dormant suggested that she has a dominant personality, so I later fantasized about her tying me up. Played a 100 percent machine at the Nugget and earned enough for a few comped meals. Fell asleep well after midnight and woke up five hours later, surprisingly feeling untired. Drove to Bodine's and bet against the South Point line. Drove from there to Crystal Bay. Passed through Incline Village on the way. For about ten miles, Cutter would point out the window every now and then and say, "Wait, isn't that Candace?" every time a woman was walking down the street (old beyondcapping joke)
Spent a few hours playing at the Tahoe Biltmore, won 250, and it felt like it was the first winning blackjack session I've had since Elko. Buffetgambler likes Toronto, so I bet them at the Bill Hill kiosk. Drove back to Carson City and played fpdw at Fandago. Finally hit a wall and got very tired, so headed back to the Nugget.

Question, Did you ever play blackjack at the East Side Cannery, A friend of mine goes there to grind Red light green bet one spot $5 open up two at $40 each nobody dealer floor anyone saying or watching anything. Don't think you you'll last long playing black but for a $300-$500 grind sounds like trip 1/2 x's a week. Been There?

Now if anybody that's here works there quiet please

I have visited that casino several times to bet sports, but I have never done anything else there.

    At the Peppermill.
Bet the Royals at +105, Padres at +140, and Orioles run line at +105. All medium sized bets because they were pure market caps, only bet them because they're much better than what Pinny is offering. Will try to do a longer update later.

Woke up in Carson City and checked out. Had talked to the front desk girl last night for almost half an hour. She seemed to have a great personality, and had about as much in common with me as any woman I've ever met. Her favorite movie is Human Centipede, and she claims to know everything about the Manson family. The biggest red flag is that she proclaimed that she is proud to be an alcoholic. She even showed me this picture of herself:
    http://www.bustedmugshots.com/idaho/meridian/jody-rose-pepperdene/39807542
She gave me her phone number, even though she didn't know my name.

11 oclock, and Cutter was playing some weird game at Cactus Jack's. We drove north to Virginia City to see if there was anything worth playing. There wasn't, and I was sad to see the entire town is nothing but a gigantic tourist trap. Horrible pay on all machines, and no sportsbetting. We pressed on north and arrived in southern Reno. It was well after twelve, and we still hadn't had breakfast. Cutter does not eat breakfast ever. It was driving me crazy enough to where I had to bang my head against the car window every few minutes.
"Benny, what the Hell are you doing?"
"I'm causing pain in my head to take my mind off of how hungry I am."
He wound up playing Nsud at Tamarack Junction while I flirted with a ticket writer in the sportsbook. Headed north from there to the Atlantis, but we didn't stay long. Headed to the Peppermill, bet every line that was off of Pinnacle, stole some coffee and headed into downtown. He had heard from someone that there was a VP machine at a casino there that was misprogrammed to give away much more in comps than any expected loss. We headed there (prefer not to say which one), and played for a few hours. We both got free rooms and a free dinner from the host, and she said there probably wouldn't be a problem letting us stay there the rest of the week. Wandered around downtown while the games were being played, hit the tables at Circus Circus and won five whole dollars, looked around for KrazyBread, but he was nowhere to be found. Had dinner and watched the ending of the NBA finals. Went back to the machines and played some more. I was up around 200 at one point but wound up losing it back. Amazingly, the slot club girl told me I had earned more than 70 in comps, even though I hadn't thought I had put nearly enough play in. It's an absolutely solid play, and if I was stuck here, I'd probably hit those machines enough to just earn a free room every night.
There are so many memories in this city for me, and I almost started crying a few times. The hotel room I'm in actually looks down on the parking lot where I was attacked on Halloween night '04. No one from the old days is still around, and I don't know what it says about me that I'm still grinding away in this mess.

She sounds like a keeper Benny, don't let her get away. While I know it was a long time ago, I would love to hear the story behind this, or at least as much as you can remember, please.

Took a chance on 972 Twins at +123. As good as Sale has been, don't want to pass up the chance to fade the WS as a road favorite.

Woke up and wandered downtown and had breakfast at the Silver Legacy. Stopped in at the Grand Sierra and was sad to see that it had been extensively remodeled. Went east from there to Fernley, but neither casino had anything playable. Fallon was next, saw the old Bird Farm, saw the Nugget, stopped at a bar called Headquarters that has a live blackjack game from 11 pm to 6 am only. Didnt want to hang around for that, so turned around and headed back on Highway 50. Made it back to Carson City and played fpdw at Fandago and lost fifty bucks. Went from there to Bodine's and found a bank of machines with a high metered jackpot. Cutter said that they were easily over 101%, so we wound up playing for almost three hours. I fell down around three hundred, but I finally hit four aces and won it back with a small amount of interest. Didnt get back to Reno till almost two, and I wound up getting ten hours of deep sleep. We wound up heading right back to Carson, and I dropped 125 at the Bodine's game before breakfast. Headed over to the Gold Dust West and got baseball in for the day. Headed over to a bar on Highway 50. Some friends of Cutter's were there throwing darts; we wound up staying for game 7, had a few drinks, tried flirting with a plump 40 year old and got nowhere.
Headed back to Fandago. Jody texted me and told me she couldnt meet me. Played some more fpdw, hit deuces, and then hit a royal flush, after I was dealt AJ10 of diamonds with two blanks, drew two and got the KQ. Third royal of the year for me, and it couldn't have come at a better time. Back in Reno for now, and the plan is to spend some time in Verdi tomorrow and head back south on Saturday.

Made it back to Henderson. Bet the Rangers runline at -115 because Pinnacle had -132. Leaving for Laughlin in a few hours. Will update soon with the remainder of how Reno went.

At the airport waiting for the Laughlin shuttle to leave. Wandered around Reno two days ago, went to Baldini's and saw my old friend Dennis who was mentioned in the Reno trip report a few years ago. He writes blackmail notes to congressmen and signs my real name on them. Cutter's take on him was, "Holy shit, that guy was exactly the way you described him". Drove south yesterday, took the scenic route, passed through Gabbs, passed through Tonopah and played at the Banc Club again. They have a bank of Bonus Poker machines with paytables that are over 101%. Played there for two hours and couldnt hit a jackpot so moved on. Stopped in Goldfield, had a drink at the Santa Fe Saloon and had a bizarre conversation with the barmaiden. Back on the highway, passed the brothel the plane crashed in front of whose name I can never remember. Stopped in Amargosa for gas and noticed a sign for, "The Love Ranch No Obligation Free Tours". Went in and one of the um employees gave me a tour. 500 for anything, non-negotiable.
"What if we talk for a few minutes and you realize that you're not physically attracted to me and the chemsitry just isn't there and you just want to be friends?"
    "I doubt that will happen"
"It has happened every time I have talked to a neuro-typical woman."
"You're definitely cute in your own way."
"I'm wearing a Star Trek shirt. Need I say more?"
She pointed at the wall. There was a flathead of Captain Kirk. Apparently, since this is the closest brothel to Area 51, the theme of everything inside is Aliens and Outer Space shit.
"So, would you like to spend some time with me?"
500 is a straight bet, so no.
"I couldn't afford a penguin blow job from you."
"There are things we can do."
"Okay..how about..you dress up like a nun. Then you tie me up and give me a caning. Then you make me rub your feet while you tell me, 'You're mommy's good little whore. How much for that?"
    Long pause. "One thousand."
I ran out the door after making sure she hadn't pickpocketed me.
Walked next door to the convenience store, and Cutter was finishing paying for the gas.
I loudly yelled at the cashier.
"DO YOU KNOW WHAT THEY'RE DOING IN THAT BUILDING NEXT DOOR?"
Sarcastic eye roll. "No, what are they doing?"
"A bus full of missionary nuns are in there. They're singing songs about how much they love Jesus!"
Drove from there to the Longstreet and scouted the games. Nothing good, so we crossed over into California and passed the Amargosa Opera House. Back in Nevada five miles later, and we were in Pahrump. Spent the night at Cutter's house and headed out to Henderson. Bet the Phillies, Rangers, and Tigers. Watched the games at Jokers Wild. Cutter drove home to see his wife. I had to head to Laughlin since I have nowhere to stay in Vegas, but I do have eight more room nights comped in Laughlin this month.
