Going to try to put this all in one thread, for some reason. Updates will be sporadic because I don't have reliable internet access. These are the kind of bets I can't do write-ups for. Finally made it out of Jean. I'm on the South Strip somewhere, in a hotel I haven't been inside of in years.

    996 Texas/Houston under 8 1/2 (-110)
Bet this one over at the Aquarius. Drove down to Laughlin today after spending yesterday on the Strip. Played a lot of Blackjack, wonging in on positive shoes whenever I could, but luck just wasnt on my side. Played all over, the Mirage, the Encore, Circus. Just needed a break really, after spending most of the last three weeks in Jean.
    Opening day thoughts:
I would have loved to have made a huge bet on the Astros, but I just didn't feel the line value was there, and it seems the linesmaker is content to take one-sided public action on the Rangers and hope they lose. Norris is still a bit underrated by the market and the side is very heavily correlated to the total. Plus 150 or so is a good, but not great bet.
Haven't bet anything for tomorrow as the lines look much sharper than normal. Under in the Royals/CWS could be good with a forecast of 39 degrees in Chicago for tomorrow.
Marlins at plus 235 are hard not to like, as are Padres at plus 130 or better. Only favorite that looks good is the Yankees at a low price.

    Agree.

Bet him quite often last year with success for a long while.

    Wandering around Laughlin betting.
Bet one unit on Marlins plus 220 at WH, and a corpar to the over, and also bet Phillies plus 104 with a corpar to the over.

    Rockies +134
    Orioles +160
    Astros +160

Also love the Indians if the number drifts up a little more.
Weird day yesterday, in that it felt that I ran horribly on baseball, but managed only a small loss after a corpar on Arizona and under came through. Went out to play BJ at night and wound up having by far my best sessions of the trip. Played at River Palms, Tropicana, and Pioneer and couldn't lose at any of them. Trop actually asked for a copy of my DL when I cashed out, and I handed it over to them without thinking about what I was doing. She actually photocopied it, which was very bizarre, since the amount I cashed out for was less than 10000.
I'm quietly putting together a trip that's similar to what Barry Meadow did in Blackjack Autumn. I've been to practically every single casino in Southern Nevada in the last few weeks and have pulled some kind of ap move in each of them. I just don't have the time to sit and write about them; yesterday I think I spent 14 hours gambling.

Just keep moving and you'll know when it's time to move and when you go back go to a different shift. I'm not telling you anything you don't know. You just don't want to get burned that first time then it becomes a PIA.

The help is so weak, there so concerned with watching to many games they don't watch any. The dealers they lucky when they pay a bet right. I'll never forget the Pit Manager had the scheduler put this old lady at the (xxxxxx) and I mean old on a double deck and could hardly shuffle. Just follow one clump bang out the door and they wouldn't know what hit them. Well she was dealing to this guy playing a flat 2k a hand and every time he got a Blackjack she paid him 4k finally after the while surveillance calls and say's this dealer paid a 2k Blackjack 4k so I ask how long ago was this (This was a crack team up there lol ) so the guy upstairs say's about an hour ago so I said forget getting the money but I'll take care of the rest so I told the Pit manager tell the Supervisor it's day shift there's not a soul in the joint watch the game and then I told surveillance run it back and tell me how many times it happen. Any time you talk to surveillance a report is sent to the V.P. and president so you have to tell them what your going to do for there report and your report when you get that phone call the next day. I told them try telling me when it happens and not an hour later and of course they have some BS excuse and then depending on the guest I'll decide to get the money or not. But an hour later say goodbye to that 1k.

Surveillance then calls back and say's it happen 8 x's I had to laugh thinking where were these dealers when I was playing. Then I when to see the brilliant Pit Manager who told scheduler to put her on a double deck game. The money that walks out the door is amazing.

The better one was the old lady who's game was down the pit a ways started dealing one day and we're watching her take and pay and shuffle and talking the problem was there was nobody there the table was empty she gave a spot some red chips and worked like there was a player there. What could I do but laugh and then get her off the game and after that we convinced her a couple of weeks later with HR it was time to retire.

OT, don't act like you weren't doing similar things when you retired :)

She actually photocopied it, which was very bizarre, since the amount I cashed out for was less than 10000. you didn't have to and they would have cashed you out anyway but they have to fill out an MTL and what they did was Photocopied your ID into the system. If you didn't have a players card which I believe you probably have one they would have made one for you one and you need to update your ID every 3 years or it becomes invalid according to the Casino. This state changed to title 31 some years ago and it's a little different then Regulation 6A was. The DL was just put into the system Just SOP just don't cash out any more there for the next 24 hours. It just helps them keeping track of money leaving the cage. But you could have said I rather not and the win was most likely verified via phone from the pit already so they were paying you.

Another weird day yesterday. Played a lot of blackjack and wound up doing nothing but losing. Almost all the money I won from the Orioles and Rockies went in the drop box. I'm sure that my count was accurate and I wasn't playing tilted; it was just a day that I was destined to lose. Also wound up playing a few hours of video poker at the Pioneer, and in less than 48 hours, I have wound up with enough points for four free nights there. Of course, I tried flirting with the bartender and got nowhere. She has five ex-husbands. I asked her, "Can I be number six?" She didn't even give me mercy laughter.
I've also been watching a lot of daytime tv lately since there really isnt much to do in Laughlin. I'm even analyzing it. Dog the Bounty Hunter has got to be the most fake, scripted reality show ever invented, but I can't stop watching it. All they ever do is go to the person's mother's house, and that's where they're hiding. And that woman looks exactly like Miss Piggy.
    Courtroom Dramas:
No matter what time it is, 24 hours a day, there is a courtroom tv show on. My opinion is that regardless of her public image, whenever Judge Judy is in whatever room she's getting fucked in, she's completely submissive and does whatever her husband commands.
Sasquatch: there seem to be dozens of shows of people walking around in the woods with video cameras trying to find bigfoot. Of course they never do.
You are not the father shows: good for a chuckle every now and then, but obviously scripted and phony.
I need new hobbies. Any suggestions?

Loaded up on Pirates run line at -120 as the final bet of the night. I've been pretty much walking a loop between the River Palms, Pioneer and Tropicana playing as much as I can on each shift. A few weird things happening here and there, but nothing truly story worthy. I've been thinking of heading back to Northern Nevada sometime in May, but no definite plans as of yet.
