Final regular season record: 115-113-7, -9.6 units
Ugh, by far my worst record in any sport in recent memory, both regular or post-season. I was hoping things would turn around in the final 3 weeks of season, but alas I went 11-10-1 on sides and 19-23 on totals. LOL, it figures with the totals, which had been horrible all season. I'll have another posting about this soon, but as I've mentioned previously, scoring is WAY up this season in NFL, decimating many Under methods that have worked well in the past. Linemakers tried to adjust to catch-up, but too little too late. Given the public tends to bet Overs (and smart money Under), have to think the yahoos are happy.
It's always very difficult deducing if permanent changes need to be made in the way you do things based on just a season's results. Maybe it was an aberration? (and in this case, given COVID, no fans, etc., a strong case can be made it is or was). However, maybe the refs were told to call fewer penalties and this may be a lasting edict that will carry over into future seasons.... Idk.
