European brick-and-mortar betting shops

I dont have any experience with walk-in betting shops in Europe. I am trying to kill some time alone during an overnight layover in Prague this weekend and was thinking about putting down some longshot futures bets on the Presidential election that I can't find on my US and crypto sites. A company called Fortuna dominates Czech and has an online presence with some attractive odds on Oprah (200-1) and Michelle Obama (127-1). I thought I'd walk around and hit their 6 locations in the city center and max out what each locations offer.

Is this plan likely to work? Do walk-in locations of European bookie shops typically allow the same benefits as online? Will they allow me to max out and re-bet at a moved line at the same location? Do they take your name down or ask for an address?

I don't have any insight to your question but I have to ask. Both Oprah and Michelle Obama have said countless times (simple Google search) that they have zero interest in ever running for president. Forget about the odds of winning, the odds are 1000-1 that either one even changes their mind on running. What's the counter argument? At the same odds, I could get Pence. Yes, I know all the reasons why he wouldn't win. However, at least I know I have somebody that would seize it if given the opportunity somehow.

I don't think you can get 150-1 or 200-1 on Pence easily. I agree if Trump stroked out tomorrow and Pence were an incumbent he'd be very attractive probably a 25%-35% shot at winning. But I think Pence would have a primary challenge if it happens pre-convention and like Romney (or sadly somebody even more craven like Gym Jordan) would be the GOP candidate, and lock in a 200 electoral votes baseline.

My play is about the Democratic convention. New rules mean super delegates can only vote in a brokered convention. And the Dem primaries/caucuses are all proportional, not winner-takes-all like the GOP. I think the current lineup implies a 40% chance that we have a brokered convention. And that in this scenario Biden has 20% of delegates, Bernie/Warren have 30%, somebody else (Harris/Buttigieg/Mr X) split 30%. And the remaining 20% are super delegates who arent allowed to vote unless there is a brokered convention. They dont vote as a monolith, but will be focused on electability.

I think that Michelle and Oprah will be speaking at the convention and polling shows that they do better than Biden against Trump head to head. I can picture Michelle Obama promising action on student loans, minimum wage, climate change, and thus uniting the party. Dems will have a money disadvantage against Trump and Oprah can self-fund. Each could heal the country in ways that Biden and Warren can't.

I put a brokered convention at 40% and the party not uniting at 25%. So as in 1968 they have to choose someone: Gore, Oprah, Michelle, Hillary, RBG, Pelosi, Rachel Maddow, Ellen DeGeneres, Tom Hanks, George Clooney, Angelina Jolie. Its hard to see anyone else that could get the full support of the party and have the star power that the zeitgeist demands.

Hard to imagine Trump losing. The only Dems that could possibly win a general election are polling at sub 1%. Trump is obviously very beatable if the Dems hadn't moved so far left. Biden is a walking time bomb. Warren and Bernie are socialists. Mayor Pete is a queer. Kamala comes across as a total bitch.

Shame. She was a sexy woman when she was on the move back in NoCal. Ask Willie Brown.

I think Gabbard is hot for a 50 year old politician. Warren looks like a bobblehead, she might be the smartest but god did a good job trying to hide it with that bobblehead and look she has.

I think polls mean nothing now because everyone is so afraid of the public shaming of supporting a candidate now, I think all the things going on and people are saying is really scary for the reg voting guy and will put Trump back in again if they cant somehow figure out a way to impeach him, I think the guy probably technically commits a crime every 3 seconds and has zero the "white house" secrecy protection other presidents have had.

All these knocks on Trump for what he does and does not do but does not seem to me that the avg guy wants to pay for someone elses kids education more than he already is. I dont think the avg guy wants to not know what language he needs to speak to order food at a pizza joint. I dont think the avg guy wants to pay for immigrant healthcare when he does not have healthcare. I just dont really see the cure to these serious problems and climate change, I think the cure needed is so astronomical that we are screwed even if they try now, this planet probably has an expiration date that has the year 20XX in it

Joe Biden is taking allotta incoming from the Far Right for his 'senior moments'. Bush Jr gotta pass while being 20 years younger? The Obamas are on the sidelines waiting to bandwagon the nominee. How's that for loyalty to a guy that's been your partner for 8 years? Joe Biden can win it all with 'standup' debates against DJT. He also might need 'special sauce' meds or finding PDL's "Fountain of Youth". Let's not forget that Trump is no spring chicken.
