Omaha lost four out of six of their top scorers and their top three scorers. Santa Barbara lost their top scorer. Last years game was really slow paced and why can't this years one play that way as well?
Last year's game had 150 possessions, that's not really slow paced, that's fast. Teams were a combined 7/44 from the arc, which is way below expectation, and there were only 7 points in the last 5 minutes which is VERY low.
You may be aware of that, but just pointing out to everyone that looking at a low score doesn't mean it was slow or really have any predictive value.
