Got lucky with the Tex/Wash Under Fri. and won by a half but easily won
the Ariz./Clev. over and was way off in the Balt/Colo Over i picked. So,
went 2-1 Fri. which makes me 7-5 for the week and 74 - 45 - 2 YTD.
Yesterday all the games look muddled to me so I took some Over Unders and
today a bunch of them look very clear to me - Atl. should beat Cincy as
Milton is awful and should continue to be bet against as a gift until he's
traded.
Willis and Fla. should beat the Angels and Lackedy easily. This is the
Lock of the Day!
I was thinking Sheets and Halladay was an Under but going to pass on this
one for now.
I like St. Louis and Morris over TB and Hendrickson.
I love Garcia and the White Sox at home to Dessens and the Dodgers. In
the past 20 games the White Sox have seen Buehrle go 2 & 2 and Garland go
3 & 1 and Garcia go 4 & 0. Hard to imagine the WS have another pitcher
better than Garland and Buehrle but they do the past month! His last game
was poor but he won it and Dessens is just not a top notch pitcher - most
of his career was with Pitts. and Cincy where he had one good season 5
years ago going 11 -5. He's a 4.50 Era pitcher who hasn't pitched since
mid-April. Good Luck against Thomas and Dye who are hotter than hell
right now. Getting Thomas back has inspired the White Sox and makes them
doubly tough at home.
Also like my Twins today with Radke going against Lawrence. Twins won
another extra inning game Fri. and they almost never lose those. The Twins
usually give up 3 or 4 runs to their opponents and score 5 or 6 which is
why they are still in the chase with the White Sox. San Diego has won 3
of their past 15 and the Twins have won 9 of their last 15.
Also like Johnson and Detroit over Rueter who has two poor outings in a
row and is the Giants worst pitcher.
Then, in the late games we get the gift of the day next to WIllis, Pedro
the Magnificent who will surely beat Seattle again and go 14 - 0 against
them. Has a 1.30 ERA versus the Mariners and he's up against Franklin
who is 2 - 8. Enough said about this game. Just get on Pedro as he's
unbeatable right now having won 5 and gotten 3 no decisions since he's had
a loss.
