I'll be here all week. I told you Alaniz was nothing but a battler. He
always allows a crapload of baserunners, but just finds a way to get out
of the inning. The announcers obviously hadn't seen him pitch all year if
they thought he was done after the 4th. If he adds a sinker before next
season, he'll be the next Longhorn pitcher to make it to the Show, and it
won't take him long to get there.
Just an FYI for anyone looking to make a bet on the next UT game. All of
our pitchers are basically the same. We've got no one that just goes out
there and overpowers you, but they'll all fight your ass tooth and nail as
long as they're on the hill. I was just glad to see Alaniz get the start
because he seems to have the most "bulldog" in him.
If Stubbs and Teagarden start hitting, I wouldn't bet against UT the rest
of the way. Texas took 2 of 3 in Oxford with those two guys going a
combined 1 for 22, and neither got any hits in our 2 wins.
BIGJOE, just think how many units you'd be up if you hadn't bet against
Texas in every game they've played. I'm beginning to think you are a
closet UT-hater. LOL

Texas - 38
Michigan - 37
And that was in the 2005 Rose Bowl. Did they go back and change history on
me again?
Tulane in the next game if Texas throws McCulloch.
congrats on your texas play
bad error by Baylor and Texas wins
and still doing well up 6.13 units in the college baseball or 30.65 units
at a nickle a play.
Texas/Tulane next...
I'll take OSU and Tulane
just want to double check pitching matchups first.
side of the bracket just played tonight. I wouldn't take Tulane over
anyone after getting shut down by Oregon St. It's one thing to play
another johnny-come-lately in Omaha. It's something totally different to
play a team that makes its reservations in February to play at Rosenblatt.
Unless Tulane is about (+125) (and there's no way they will be), I
wouldn't take them against Texas.
As for football, I'm not even going to argue it any more. Your arguments
are funny, because apparently, the only big games Texas ever plays in are
the ones they lose. Whatever...
OSU sends Baylor home on Monday.
Brown is the best at getting the players but he keeps winning the wrong
Championship. That would be the recruiting Championship.
