Won with Atl, Stl,ChicWS,Det. and Lost with the Mets and the Twins -
that's 4-2 for the day and 11-7 for the week and 78-47-2 YTD. I actually
won the Mets game as I took the under when I actually bet the game for
some strange reason but I have posted Mart. so I will definitely count the
game as a loss. Just mention it to show how lucky we get sometimes. Was
thinking that I was having a good day and play it safe and take the under
as Pedro's line was up over -200.
Today I say go with the Amer. League against whatever Nat'l team they are
playing! Seems like it anyway! Kind of a tough day as my favorites are all
very high lines up around -200. NYY are red hot so have to go with them
and Mussina over the Cubs.
Then, Texas over Wash. as I'm just not into Loaiza although his record
isn't all that bad. Rangers hitting homers like crazy once again so at
home on Sunday why not?
Would love to take Santana over the Padres but with the high line I have
to see an absolute lock and the Twins just not right at the moment so
will pass on Johan today. I think they realize that the White Sox are
going to be impossible to catch and may be giving up.
That leads me into the White Sox at home to the Dodgers who can't seem to
score over 3 runs and the White Sox are just the opposite hitting for over
20 total bases in 7 of their past 14 games. With Frank Thomas back they
are on a tear right now and have KC coming to town next.
Then I like Seattle and Meche at home to the Mets who are hitting the
poorest of any team lately having scored a run or more in only 5 of their
last 45 innings. KC at 6 and Oak at 7 are the next worst on that list.
Best are the Yanks who have scored in 19 of their past 45 innings and then
Tex. at 14 and STL,Ariz,TB,ChicWS all at 13 innings scored a run or more
of their past 5 games.

It will be a long time before I bet on those dumb son of a bitch's again.
I really feel for poor Dontrelle Willis as if he doesn't go the distance,
Jack ( I'm asleep) MCKeon will put in some rookie with a 6.60 ERA to lose
the game. The question is - How did the Marlins get the second best ERA in
the NL and almost the fewest saves? If their opposition would pitch
around Delgado and Cabrera and Encarn they would score very few runs.
Looks like WIllis,Moehler,Burnett & Beckett have to carry this team.
