will take the Beavers today with there ace sophomore right hander Dallas
Buck
Buck is 12-1 with a 2.12 ERA on the year, he has 116 strikeouts in 123 IP
and he's given up only 83 hits. Opponents are batting just .189 against
him.
Baylor starts senior lefthander Trey Taylor.
Taylor is 7-6 this year with a 3.50 ERA and opponents are batting .249
against him.
Taylor is there #3 pitcher behind 1st Rounder Mark McCormick, and Team USA
Invitee Cory VanAllen.
Just think that the Beavers are the better hitting team, they don't strike
out, and they play great defense and start there #1 guy Buck against
Baylor #3 guy Taylor.
But don't go crazy because if both starters get in trouble the Baylor
Bears have the better of the bullpens with at least 2 to 3 guys they can
go to.
