DELAWARE PARK ANNOUNCES NEW TRACK SUPERINTENDENT:
    CANCELS MONDAYS LIVE RACING CARD

Wilmington, DE: Bill Fasy, Delaware Park Chief Operating Officer, today
appointed a new track superintendent, Ken Brown. Ken joins the Delaware
Park team after eighteen years with the Maryland Jockey Club under John
Passero where he served as Track Superintendent and oversaw all aspects of
track maintenance. Ken was also responsible for the preparation of the
track and numerous aspects surrounding the Preakness and Laurel Park
    Racetrack.

The Delaware Park Racetrack has cancelled Mondays race card in order to
give Ken and his staff time to work on the track surface. Delaware Park
expects to resume full racing operations on Tuesday.

Delaware Park will be requesting four additional racing days in August
from the Delaware Thoroughbred Racing Commission.

"We are confident that Kens proven track record in maintaining a quality
racetrack surface will result in optimum track conditions and restore the
confidence of our racing fans, horsemen, and jockeys," says Bill Fasy,
    COO.

Delaware Park offers live racing April through November. Post time is
    12:45 p.m. Saturday through Wednesday.
