In the meantime, a little information regarding:
Wins-Loss on (blue) Mondays:
Balt.6-2,..Bost..4-5,...WSox..6-4,..Clev..3-3,....
Det..5-1,....KC..0-4,.Angels..7-2,..Minn..0-5,....
NYY..4-2,...Oak..3-5,....Sea..3-4,..TBay..2-4,

Maybe this means nothing, on the other hand-maybe it is a little
significant on "Mondays", as to how much,at least in part they
"over-visit" the watering holes or whatever on the week-ends.
It looks like the worst offender is:
Minn. Twins 0-5 on Mondays (not playing tonight)..
Best behaved on week-ends is:
SD 7-1 on Mondays.(playable tonight)

Best matchup tonight:
San Diego 7-1 on Mondays hosting Dodgers 2-5 on Mondays....
....In fact, I think I'll make that a pick.....
San Diegos bats seem to have came back alive, beating the Twins (Radke) by
7-2 and (Santana) 5-1 Sat.and Sun..while LA lost to the WSox 3-5 and 3-4.
....Peavy 5-2, 2.79 era, in 13 starts, whip 0.95, his performance had
dropped lately while battling an upper respiratory infection, pitched
quality in his last outing on 6/14, in a loss at Det. throwing 6 inn
allowing 3 earned runs and striking out "10" indicates,to me, he has
returned to form, he is getting an extra days rest for this game..Lifetime
vs the Dodgers he is 3-1, 2.59 era..SD has an outstanding bullpen. Current
Dodgers players batting avg against Peavy is .187 in 75 at bats.
....Penny 3-3, 4.02 era, in 11 starts, whip 1.25, pitched well his last
outing on 6/15 at KC throwing 7 inn allowing 3 runs striking out
"7"..Lifetime vs the Padres he is 2-3, 5.67 era...Dodgers bullpen has been
awful its last 3 games..lets put it this way..their starting pitcher went
6 inn each of the last 3 games,all losses, their relief crew gave up 2, 4
and 2 runs during that span.
SD's, current players, batting avg against Penny has been an amazing .376
in 109 at bats.
