What really cracks me up about gambling!

The stock market is where the real gambling takes place.
I had some Google calls that expired on Friday. I had completely
forgotten about them and I get a call this morming with a 68000.00 dollar
margin call. They excercised the options over the weekend and I now own
another 1000 shares of Google at 280 per share.
I pop up my Etrade and I al already out 9 grand on this thing because it
was now at 171.
I say screw it and go out to our pond and fish with my 11 year old. I
come back in and I am now 6 grand ahead. I sell it. 15000 dollar spread
in like an hour!
Then I get pissed because I lost 50 bucks on a horse!
Amazing isn't it?

is legal, and we have to go to vegas or set up books offshore to make it
legal.......in my opion - playing the market is more of a gamble......at
least there is information and trends for the public to work with in
sports......who knows who is skeeming behind the doors of those corporate
entities.......
buying calls before earnings were announced when i thought a company was
going to announce good earnings or right before the fed would announce
interest rate drops. Then I got killed when the big Nasdaq crash occurred.
i am dieing to get back in but can't bring myself to do it.
