last night leaving Harper in there for all that abuse (9 runs in 0.2IP)?
He said he would stay until his contract was up but to me that was a clear
sign of either fire me or get me some decent players. That was just plain
ridiculous.
And I know it is hard to throw a game but DRay outfielders were playing
awfully shallow when they were still up 10-7 in the 8th. Ball over Huff's
head and another one over Hollins that could have easily been outs.
Yes, I had DRays for 1/4 unit!!

the bullpen as they had a day game today after a night game. Maybe he left
the poor guy out there to take his lumps so he would have some arms for
today if needed.
pounded the crap out of the Big Unit I would try my hardest to win that
game. I wouldn't worry about the next day because I could be behind 8-0
early or get 8 innings from solid Kazmir.
A win for a young club at Yankee Stadium against Johnson would only help
in the future.
P.S. How shitty are the Yankees starters? Georgie is going to need the
rookies to come through because he has nothing to trade away.
