Going to take the night off! I'm always happy with two wins a one day and
the White Sox and Buehrle and now Houst. and Roger have given me a 2-0 day
and a week that's now 5-0-1. So, because pigs go broke, I'm waiting for
tomorrow for my next pick. By the way, I havn't had a losing day now
since Sunday 6/11 so for the past 10 days I'm 19-8-1. YTD I'm now
86-48-3.
Because I don't bet much with my own money and believe strongly in pushing
up my bets when I'm ahead, I'm now getting to the point where my size is
quite considerable. It actually helps as I don't make any picks that
aren't as well thought out and researched as possible. My goal each day
is to find the games where a weak team is playing a strong team and a weak
pitcher is going against one of my strong pitchers. Yesterday and today's
White Sox games were classic spots to clean up. A strong team against the
weakest team around and two strong pitchers against poor pitchers. With
Sweeney on the DL and Stairs sitting out today's game, it was quite easy
but of course it's always easy when you win! Good Luck tonight!

is on Mountain. It is one of the pleasures of the job, althoug I will be
at dinner with a cardiologist and a couple of his staff from 7-10pm
tonight, then home to do some paperwork...not as glam as it seems, but
definately is flexible! Just wish we could still expense golf and
crap..that was the best.
