Great year once again. It's really good to see a great rep in a (let's use the word) shady business and you're totally transparent.
Continued success.

Yes we agree. It was a tough baseball season and you really had to evolve this season with changes and the way the game is played in 2017 and to continue throughout the season is no easy feat and H didn't miss a beat. Impressive.

Well-done mate. Was this your complete body of work or just a glorified sample thereof. If complete then you're one of the few who came out on the plus side this baseball season.

Which product of the two is greater? 4% of $100,000 or 6% of $20,000? :-)

Incredibly consistent results. Great job this year. Besides RAS, the only service i've purchased in the last 10 years and there is a reason for that. Great customer service as well. Worth every penny.

Reading all the words of praise and congratulations here (and deservedly so) for Dr. H makes me believe the old adage "a leopard doesn't change its spots" is not necessarily true.

Hey Dr H would you be willing to share your results for 2017 on the games with zero and or negative CLV? I am very curious how much the CLV played into your great numbers.

There's a filter on the website that allows you to do exactly that, plus more.

I could not figure out how to just show even or negative clv results

    29 and 37?
  • danshandanshan Senior Member
    edited September 2017
not much to get from that really because of the huge difference win%
  • Dr. HDr. H Senior Member
    edited September 2017
Yes 29-37, 46% adjusted win percentage, -8.77 units.

Compare to when we beat close by 1% or more, which is 145-101, 60% adjusted, +39.68 units.

Beating the close is, uh, kinda important.

it seems like the win% is more important than the CLV.
  • danshandanshan Senior Member
    edited September 2017
ROi when your CLV goes higher
    0 to 10 clv ROI 16.75%
    11-20 clv% ROI 9.92%
    21+ ROI 8.68%

    is that correct?

Seems like 0-10 clv is the sweet spot. That's what I'd aim for
  • danshandanshan Senior Member
    edited September 2017
I am in no way knocking your numbers just trying to get a grip on how important the CLV is
  • danshandanshan Senior Member
    edited September 2017
it looks like to me when you are closest to 0 CLV you do best
way high sucks and way low sucks, optimal is right at 0
  • danshandanshan Senior Member
    edited September 2017
even your negative close to 0% clv is very profitable
  • danshandanshan Senior Member
    edited September 2017
now 2016 numbers say CLV is the only number that matters
  • danshandanshan Senior Member
    edited September 2017
now 2015 says negative CLV is a winner
  • danshandanshan Senior Member
    edited September 2017
2015 says stay close to zero but under zero is best

very interesting, I am very confused from your results of what really matters
