Did anyone get an advanced warning for today's games? I just got the first play with no warning. Are we not doing any warning anymore?

I didn't get it and neither did my buddy. Was it sent via email and text, or just email?

my two cents.... the countdown page was much better.. relay times between text an email cause an issue. its getting brutal to get the number even with three outs !

A release warning was sent, but it appears that some subscribers didn't get it. We are researching the issue and will work on it before the next release. We apologize that you did not receive it.

I like the way it is now. I don't like the countdown page. And I'd even go as far to say that I wouldnt mind not even getting a warning. As long as the plays came between a certain time frame. But I wasn't ready for that today. I do like the warnings, but I wouldn't imagine it being a total must as long as we knew a time frame.

The text system is pretty rapid. Most subscribers all get the play at the same instant. The majority of subscribers have reported that the new system has made it easier for them to get the line. We appreciate all feedback, though, and will always consider all options.

I'm not a sub, but I think the best method for release would be a live video in real time where you call out the rotation # and line.

The warning listed the number of plays, so that's how you would have known (and hopefully will know in the future).

Now that's intersting, never thought of that. I like the way it is now though.

Theoretically, that would be a great idea. However, live video is often delayed out of sync from one viewer to another. The technology isn't there yet.

Would certainly throw a curve ball to those scripting. And should it fall within their budget, I request that they get James Earl Jones to read off the plays.

Yes, the video probably would be out of sync, but I wonder how off sync text messages are pending on the carrier.

Steve Budin still around? Hire him! He could do the video in his cashmere robe with a stogie. "Guys, my crew in Pocatello has some inside info on Idaho and we're taking #146 Idaho+8'. "

For those of us who are in Vegas sportsbooks a conference call would not work very well - they love to kick out people on phones. Looking for a text is much easier.
