Just wanted to say I'm excited to begin posting in the Betting Talk forum. Haven't been making power ratings for a while, but I've been following college basketball pretty closely this year. I can't stand the AP top 25 / Coaches poll, and primarily that is the reason I constructed these ratings. I understand it is difficult to assign a numerical value to a team, but I just wanted to get a general picture of where the best teams stack up against each other. I'm always looking to hear sharp opinions and I figured this was the place to go. Comments and opinions are encouraged as I am always trying to improve my ratings. Here is my top 50...

100.0 Arizona
99.0 Kansas
98.0 Syracuse, Duke
97.5 Florida
97.0 Michigan St.*
95.5 Kentucky, Villanova, Iowa, Wichita St., Michigan
95.0 Virginia, Iowa St.
94.5 Creighton, Louisville
94.0 San Diego St., Cincinnati,
93.5 SMU, Ohio St., Oklahoma St.*
93.0 Wisconsin, Pittsburgh, Oregon, Texas, Saint Louis
92.5 Oklahoma, Kansas St., UConn, Memphis, Stanford, Arizona St.
92.0 Gonzaga, California
91.5 Tennessee
91.0 VCU, Utah, Minnesota, Massachusetts, Baylor, George Washington, Colorado,
90.5 St. John's, West Virginia, Maryland, Xavier, Indiana
90.0 Oregon St.
89.5 Georgetown, Providence
89.0 Nebraska, Florida St.

Good stuff. Here's my top 30. This is strictly from an oddsmaking perspective. For the most part ours look pretty similar, though I have Louisville much higher. If you look at their lines and compare to other teams, it's clear this is still the top team in many's mind. People are just waiting for them to go off.

    Louisville 100
    Duke 98.5
    Arizona 98
    Kansas 98
    Florida 97.5
    Syracuse 97
    Iowa 97
    Virginia 97
    Creighton 97
    Villanova 96.5
    Kentucky 96.5
    Michigan St. 96.5
    Michigan 96.5

    UCLA 95.5
    Wisconsin 95
    Ohio St. 95
