Since Urban's guys couldn't pick up 2 yards on 3rd and fourth down or play defense either, kiss goodbye to another Ohio St. BSC Title game. It would appear it is going to be a good one and and wonder what everyone thinks the line will be once released?

My guess for the BCS Championship Game in Pasadena.....

FSU -9.5 O/U 65

What about Alabama? Don't they have a chance. Auburn was not impressive. Locked up with FSU/Auburn? I would think so, but with team with one loss, I don't think I'm crazy to think Bama has an outside chance to get in.

A poor Michigan team exposed them last week. Great rebound down 17-0 but not enough D after MSu started the comeback. Not a OSU fan either so the best game will take place for the BCS Championship game!

really law? burn beat them straight up and just won an extra game vs a tough mizzou team. no brainer although I still think bama is the better of the two teams if played again.

Outside chance maybe but way outside. I see no way that Auburn will miss out with the win last week over Bama and taking out Mizzou who was ranked #5 in all the polls. Auburn's BCS number will certainly move up and Bama's number won;t change. Would be amazed if it is not FSU/Auburn in Pasadena.

I was just looking AT&T he composite BCS standings, and they probably can't surpass them in the human polls, so looks like auburn will get it. But the best game is Alabama FSU. FSU will likely be the champ.

Michigan state has a legitimate argument for getting in the title game IMO. They'd crush Auburn.

I don't know that MSU would kill anyone but I do think if they played Auburn or FSU it would be a bloodbath. That defense is NASTY. They dominated Ohio St in the 4th quarter. Fact is they went undefeated in Big 10 and won every single game by double digits. One really bad pass interference call vs ND stands in between them and perfection.
I think the bigger question is if this was next year who are 3 and 4? Is it Bama and Stanford with 2 losses or MSU with 1? And that's the problem with the format going forward. I think 8 teams would take away some of these issues because at that point you are dealing with multiple loss teams so its easier to dismiss or cut off that 9th team. But seriously I think we are going to have controversy with the new system too.

Absolutely not. Sparty would absolutely smother the fuck out of auburn, both sides of the ball. SEC = WAC/MWC this season.

Right, and the Big Ten = FCS Div I-AA this year.

The Las Vegas Hotel (LVH) says its sportsbook has 14 outstanding tickets with Auburn to win the BCS at 1000-1

I still think the two best teams in the country are FSU and Alabama, and that would have been one hell of a matchup. However, since Auburn beat Bama, they deserve to play FSU. It's not the game I want to see but it's how things worked out. I also agree with Jala that Sparty is better than Auburn, but we'll never know.

if sparty is better than burn then you are telling me that the huskers should be able to beat burn too as the huskers handed over a W to sparty with 5 turnovers (pretty much all caused by the foul play of NE). lets face it too, the huskers are mediocre at best. you guys are over rating mich st as beating the buckeyes and winning the big 10 wasn't much of a chore. IMO.

Yeah your argument is extremely logical since auburn certainly didn't have any close and/or lucky wins.

Auburn loses four games in the rugged B1G

Newc, you can't play the "if this team beat that team" card. The fact that Neb should have beaten MSU has no bearing on the argument as to who is better between Aub and MSU. USC beat Stan, Stan beat Oreg, does that mean USC is better than Oreg?

Auburn beat WSU at home by seven, Miss St at home by four, Ole Miss at home by eight, at A&M by four, UGA and Bama both on miracle plays. Not the kind of resume I would expect from one of the top two teams in the country.

I was making a shitty example I understand that but I am just stating that the big 10 is not very good. its that simple. buckeyes were never even close to a top 5 team and sparty is certainly not a top 10 team. sparty tough yes but their offense against even a decent defense gets shut down. great RB and solid D.

agree. bama should've closed em out but they didn't and burn played them tough. Burn has gotten better as the season has gone along. they still beat the undisputed bama and then mizzou. 2 very good wins to end season. mich state would not have done that.

That might be so, but they don't rely on big offense to win like most teams. Sparty does it old school by playing defense. With the number one D in the country, they don't need a lot out of their offense, a 21-14 win is the same as a 47-40 win.

huskers ran right down their throat so I am sure that burn could do the same thing with that luscious running game. that #1 D didn't go up against a lot of off the chart offenses and when you saw what the buckeyes did on the ground yesterday.

Again, you can't compare different games. The Neb-MSU game has no bearing on what would happen if Aub played MSU.

I understand kane, that was one simple example of this #1 D getting shredded on the ground. Auburn would do the same and more but they also have a better D than teams like the buckeyes who Mich State threw and ran all over. I just don't agree what so ever that Mich State could beat Auburn if they played tomorrow. what would the line be?

I team like Stanford is truly old school and would be a legit opponent compared to Sparty. is see your point and the style but again Cardinal I could see in your argument just not the big 10 champ sparty. agree to disagree brother :).

So if this next year: FSU vs Stanford/MSU and Auburn/Bama? Have to leave Baylor out because of Okies loss to Sooners.

    boom

Completely due to opponents. There's no offense is that league. Do you think they have the number 1 defense if they play in the PAC 12 or SEC? Of course not. Big 10 is awful

It's all good Newc, we'll have to disagree on this. It's all speculation anyway, but that's what makes this stuff fun to talk about. I only have a back and forth with someone who's opinions I respect, GL today.

I played the Skins (lol), Niners, and Titans. In the NBA I'm on the Pistons, and I'm thinking about the Thunder.

Have the skins on my card as well today. Sometimes teams just quit. Sometimes I'm too stubborn to acknowledge that....
