Normally a no-brainer. But it's hard to pass up Rivers against the lowly Jags. Opinions...?

    Rivers

EDIT: That was a snap answer, probably a coin flip to be honest.

    Phillip Rivers:
    - 72.65 completion %, 14 TD-5 INT, 108.72 Passer rating
    - Jacksonville defense allows opposing passers a rating of 101.61
    - Plays behind nr5 Offensive Line of the NFL

    Cam Newton:
    - 60.78 completion %, 9 TD's - 5 INT's for a 89.42 Passer Rating.
    - St Louis allows opposing passers a rating of 99.83
    - Cam plays behind nr 13 rated Offensive Line of the NFL

Not saying that any 1 of the 2 is a better option,..........but explain to me why 'It's not even close'

My thinking here is that Rivers has been playing his ass off so far (as the numbers above show). The Jags have been a fade all year fantasy wise, but played Manning respectably last week. I'm thinking that brig is referring to the running threat that Cam poses. Obviously if he was a true pocket passer I would easily go Rivers here. I've kinda been holding on to Rivers for this week alone, but I HATE sitting Cam when 2 of his last 3 have been tremendous. Decisions, decisions...

That's what I mean RM... There are decisions to be made, pro's and con's to be weighted. I think it's a bit strange to say 'It's not even close'.
I do believe that both are good options. Good luck.
