I'm far from a prof. handicapper but what am I missing. I saw Atlanta in spring training, they were bad. Especially with McCann out. :cool2:

I see a lot of people on the Phils today. Let me tell you. If you are backing Roy today....you prob dont follow the Phils. Roy is a mess right now and has been for almost a yr. He is not the same guy. Velocity waaaay down. Balls are way up in the zone. He is a different person. I would suggest people watch and learn on Roy before betting for or against him. Just my two cents.

Carefull jumping to conclusions, based on Spring Training if you don't know what trainers and players were trying to accomplish. Atlanta should be fine at the plate and in the field. Also, it has been documented that Halladay's fastball velocity has been steadily declining for the last 3 years. This year in ST he didn't even crack 90mph on the gun.....the value is on Maholm, by fading Doc right now. Good luck.

Was really just making a general point, probably should have just said "The market is solidly on Atlanta so far." Sorry.

One of several in which I think the over is a solid move. Several pitchers past their prime going today with totals in the 7 - 7 1/2 range, assumingly based on current low-scoring trends. I'd favor over here, as well as, in San Fran/LA and KC/ChiSox.

I was thinking about going over first 5 innings. Runs are sometimes at a premium in the 7th, 8th, and 9th with the Braves pen (if they're winning).
