Headed out for the weekend...

Anyone suggest a good sportsbook on the strip? Are there any that give out drink tickets for each bet anymore?

Was out first weekend in March, got tons of drink tickets at Caesars. Spent most of the time in the Cantor book in the Venetian since that's where we were all staying. No drink tickets there, but brought a bunch of beer from the Walgreens in the Palazzo. If you have an Android, you can download the Cantor app, set up an account, and make a deposit so you can get down whenever/wherever (within the state of NV) you want - it was great to have their lines up as an out next to the usual offshores I keep up on my phone browser.

that is sweet that they have an app so you don't have to wait in line. Great idea

Aria has a little smaller book, but their TVs are amazingly large and HD. Not many people in it when I was there last March. They also gave a drink ticket for each bet.

son lives there. just back from 2 week visit. spent tons of time in venetian book which i think is outstanding. show tellers' supervisor wager tix worth $500 and he will give you 2 drink tix. use em wisely -- bar behind the book has 2 "happy hrs" each day (usually 2 pm - 4 pm and 6 pm - 11 pm). bottle beer $2.75 during happy hr. $6.50 otherwise.

2 huge screens in middle and ability to change sides into 4 or 9 screens each depending on games available. horses off to the side so it doesnt interfere with games and vice versa.

individual screens for sports at your seat. odds screen as well with current line moves from 4 or 5 books in real time. office-type padded chairs.

biggest drawback in my opinion is limited seating.

    enjoy and glgl
