NFL: 37 (this is a biggie) followed by 41.

CFB: Someone else can chime in, but in general, totals are so high that the numbers are far less "key".

In CFB there is nothing that key, but a simple idea is to take the sum of the most common half numbers, 17, 20, 21, 24, 27, 28, 31 in different combinations to recognize what numbers likely to be important. None of those combinations equal 46, 50, or 53, and they are the most commonly lined numbers that aren't very important.

It does appear that way. The game has changed so much the last three years. It's so hard to pull the trigger on the unders unless you really feel your getting the best of it. Even with the new rule kick-off change people were expecting a big Under week and the line movement reflected that. Surprise surprise. Wondering if this week there will be move value betting the Unders. Not blindly of course but move towards looking at the Unders instead of the Overs.

It just means more teams are finishing drives. 37 pts is 4 TD and 3 FG's., 41 pts is 5 TD's and 2 FG's. Same number of scores, but teams aren't getting over mid field playing for FG's as much as they used to.
