NFL Division Bet/Draft

Couple of my friends were arguing who would finish where in each division in the NFL, or who was a lock to win or finish last in their division etc. We decided to bet on it by doing a draft. Thought it has some interesting game theory, although I'm sure we all end up with 20 pts each, since it is the NFL.

- 4 people (snake draft)
- Can only pick one team from each division. (So when 3 teams are picked in AFC West, you are left with the 4th team)
- 1st (4 pts), 2nd (3 pts), 3rd (2 pts), 4th (1pt)

Discussion:
Who do you have to have with your 1st pick?
Do just let everyone else pick a NFC West team?
Make sure to not get stuck with CAR?
More important to get either a BAL/PIT or does a division like that reduce their value with 2 top teams and 2 bottom teams?

1st 4 picks taken were PHI, GB, NE, and IND in that order

I did not pick a NFC West team by choice

I didn't, got Tampa Bay late

That division was unique to this 2 top/2 bottom split. Maybe Ind/Hou and Jax/Ten is similar

jets/pats vs phins/bills seems like a clear 2/2 to me

Definitely take IND first because they always win their division.
