Ok class, Need your help. A few buddies and I heading out to Vegas for the second weekend of the tournament. We all have established credit at Wynn, booked nice rooms, and can't wait. Now, this past week, one of my buddies stayed at this new place, the Cosmopolitan? Says its the best! He is now asking us too move from Wynn to Cosmo.

I think it all be rebooked at Cosmo in 10 days if desired, but I need your input. Who has the better sportsbook, casino, craps and blackjack, eye candy, drink specials?

We all have been there before, just this new one has peaked some interest based on his review.

Any input would be great! Thanks

"Look out below" !!! I've never been there but I heard it's the only Vegas hotel with balconies on all guest rooms. Wonder if they include a complimentary Cosmo noose on shower curtain rod too??
Either hotel should be great. Good luck !

Wynn sportsbook is nice, also puts you near Lagasses Stadium. At Lagasses stadium if you bet at all on sports youll end up with more drink tickets than you can handle.

A drink at cosmo will run you 11 bucks at the bar from my experience. City Center is new and nice but I would investigate some more before everyone switches.

Thanks guys! I am leaning towards staying at the Wynn. $11 bucks is too steep for this cheapskate.. Thanks guys! Anybody else going out there? Gotta hook up for a drink and a parlay!!!!!!!!!

I just got back from Vegas

stayed at ARIA - they have small sportsbook and casino; didn't think COSMO had one; think ARIA is the only one in City Center

    take Mike's advice

    Lagasse Sportsbook is the nuts!!!

    Not as expensive either

Don't get me wrong - the suites at ARIA were the best I've seen

    BEST

I was there in December and Cosmo didn't have a sportsbook when they opened.

nice cougars at wynn; $10 whores/sluts at cosmo w/ lots of teenieboppers and gangdouces at Cosmo too. Wynn far more classy and they often have weak sportsbook lines. I have no idea about Cosmo's book, I heard Cantor got the job.

Wynn is close to the Hilton, so thats a plus if you're a real bettor.

Wynn for sure, but don't play steam or they will kick you out.

That should be changing soon since somebody took a header. Not a good town to have Balconies like that.

What books on the strip offer free drinks while betting?

I know alot of the downtown ones give you drink tickets when you place a bet, haven't ever been to any on the strip, staying at Harrah's next week so anything in that area would be good.

STAY AT WYNN! Cosmopolitan was nice for craps. They have a sports book kiosk in a bar, and a window upstairs off the main casino floor. It was not a place for sportsbetting. Wynn is much nicer across the board. We stayed in the tower suites on the 54th floor. Best hotel room ever.
