Arkansas TT Over 27 and Write-Up

Arkansas was held below 27 points only twice this season.
1) 20 points vs. Bama. Arkansas scored 17 points in the 1st half, took a 20-7 lead in the mid 3rd quarter, then rested on its laurels a tad while simultaneously collapsing with 2 Mallett INTs. Ark had 421 yards of total offense in this game
2) 24 points vs. Texas A&M. Arkansas scored 21 in the 1H, recovered 3 Fumbles inside A&M's 40--only converting one of those tries for a FG, missing another FG and fumbling a snap on another FG attempt. Ark racked up 442 yards of total offense in this one.
More importantly, both of these games came before Knile Davis took on the featured back role as Arkansas realized Davis could gash opposing Defenses hellbent on stopping Mallett. Consider the following...

Prior to & including the A&M game, Davis averaged 6 carries per game. After A&M game, he averaged 21 carries per game.
After the A&M game, Arkansas averaged 42.5 PPG. Throwing out the UTEP game, Arkansas averaged 40PPG against SEC competition (including games @ Auburn, @ South Carolina, @ S. Carolina and vs. LSU) after integrating Davis into the gameplan. In the process Davis rushed for 11 TDs over the Hogs final 5 SEC games.
Ohio State has a good rushing defense but Arkansas' offensive gameplan prevents Ds from keying on either the run or the pass. Truly a balanced offensive attack now.
