i use a local, that all hockey total plays are 110/100 is that enough to justify playing a game where the total is at around 140?Yesterday in thevancouver game the line was 140u which if i played the under i would have paid only 110 for that play.. any opinions are very welcomed

Blindly would have been profitable post-lockout.

Plenty enough to justify if you're beating the closing line by 30 cents.

I do not have any hockey specific numbers to back me up but like Bonanno said if you are beating any play by 30 cents on a consistent basis you obviously have an advantage against the books. thus if you can consistently get 120, 130, 140 and 150 lines at 110 you have an advantage against your bookie.

your bookie is an idiot by the way.

You could simply play it one side with your guy, and come back on the other side online to guarantee a profit on every game that is -135 or -140. My guess is that he'd figure it out sooner or later though.
