I have been a Browns fan for over 35 years. I have witnessed the Sipe interception, the Elway drive, the Byner fumble and various other disappointments. However, the ineptness of the different leaders that overseen the Browns is what drives me crazy.
I am sure these guys are relatively smart but when they breath the Cleveland air something is amiss.How can you explain the past drafts and trades.
What could have been:
LaDainian Tomlinson, Richard Seymour, Donovan Mcnabb,Ed Reed, Adrian Peterson,Ben Rothensberger, Demarcus Ware, Shawn Merriman,
Not to mention
Trading for Brady Quinn ( Dallas took Felix Jones)
Not to mention the recent mess:
Trading down in the 2009 draft to acquire Alex Mack and trading Brylon Edwards.
By the looks of it the Jets have their QB WR tandem for a least 5 years. What has Cleveland got to show for it: Mack, David Veikune, a extra No. 2 in 2010.
I hope the Browns can get it together.
