    If they all rely on michigan , you must hedge something to get your money back atleast

    i like michigan to win outright too but with that much on michigan moneyline only way to hedge is to take iowa moneyline and if you don't have enough to cover that try parlaying iowa moneyliine and LSU with the points to get you a better payout

    If you think Michigan is the right side you leave it. If you think Iowa is the right side, you hedge and ask yourself why you bet Michigan to begin with and what's changed?

    Hedging to get your money back is losing value on an already -EV bet

    i would hedge if i had 4 parlays riding on a +260 ML... I'd at least hedge the $85 to get the parlay money back...but that's just me. it's really up to you

    yes, somewhere around 300/500......you are risking 85. to win over 1100....make sure you make a profit..

    I Michigan wins, you win about $1150. Iowa is a +320 favorite. You could throw $640 to win $200 and win +115 (200-85 in parlays) and still hope Michigan wins. Depends how much you need the money.

    Do you take insurance on a Blackjack? The smart money says always take the sure thing. You just have to do the calculation to ensure there is enough profit!
