superbook's check bounced

I signed up for superbook a while back about 4 years back when they were under another name and the whole USA betting thing was ok.

I've been making just small wagers from time to time. I have about $300 in the account and wanted to cash out and move the money over to betjamaica or something

I went ahead with they system paid $20 for processing fee and them to mail me a check for 75$ i wanted to test the waters first with a small withdraw. Come to find out the check BOUNCED.

I'm going to talk with the bank today and see if i have any options thru them.

Anyone have suggestions on what else to do?

    do they have a cust. serv. that you can call?

    If you already called, what did they say?

    I'm scared to play now....its as they think since it is illegal now they can just take people's money as a donation or something

    why is the minimum to deposit at bookmaker and greek and 5 dimes? how to deposit if they don't take cc or debit cards?

    deposits where made thru a credit card via netteller least thats what i did.

    I haven't called their support line..

    the check came from

    "Centurion payment systems corp"
    UPS center - Box 210
    1 Rockefeller plaza
    New york, NY 10020
    800-591-5138

    also says HSBC USA on it as well.

    i called the number right now at 11:23 central time, i was prompted to either push one or two, one would be if i was a bank confirming if the check is good and two is all other questions. Either way i get the same voicemail, " leave a message and we will get back to you on our normal business hours which is 10AM - 4PM EASTERN.... 11:23 central should be 12:23 eastern if i'm doing my numbers right. I called hitting one and two trying to get to a live person and nothing.

    calling their CS number now.

    just got off the line when CS, guy was pretty nice overall, I was informed to FAX over the copy of the check i got. So they can track this down.

    He stated normally it works without a problem... right now i'm having really mixed thoughts about this..I guess i should just give them what they are asking and go from there.

    please don't think me a jerk or rude, but sounds like you don't really need the $$$$$ if you were willing to spend about 7% of your account to get some money.

    you could also look at this as a lesson learned for a relatively minor amount of money

    always do your research kids...

    just go to betjjam.....asked for money monday...check arrived tues.....simply the best book.......

    best and safsest in my opinion
    bookmaker is growing into the largest and most popular, so id go with them

    You shouldn't post that check information on a public forum. It doesn't help matters at all.

    Chuckles same here with BJ. Going to cash the check soon. BJ has been good to me over the last year and half.

    NEVER HEARD OF SUPERBOOK, YOU SHOULD ALWAYS LOOK INTO A BOOK BEFORE SIGNING UP WITH THEM, THE EASIEST WAY IS JUST TO GOOGLE THE SPORTSBOOK NAME. OR SIGNUP WITH THE ONES ON THE RIGHT HAND SIDE, ED WOULDNT HAVE THEM THERE IF THEY WERE QUALITY

    well this was about 5+ years ago and they where under a different name and i was dumb. I admit it, i didn't do anything just stumbled upon a site and put money in and started to bet.

    i'm faxing over the copy of the check to the CS tomorrow to see if they can do anything. I dont exactly need the money, but its still rightfully MY MONEY AND I WANT IT.

    i started that account off with 100$ and made about $300 in 5+ years. the site was slow to update odds, so those .5 points gave me a edge.

    I wanted to give you guys an update but... there isn't any information to update about...

    I faxed all the stuff they ask for on 2/8/09 they told me

    "We have generated a support ticket to help us track your inquiry. Your ticket code is DELETED. Please use this code in any further communication.

    I apologize for any inconvenience caused by this bounced check issue. We are currently checking with our processor regarding this. As son as we have an update we will contact you back."

    check was issued 1/7/09 , i went to cash it about a week later and the bank send it back on 1/28/09.

    I wrote back to them 2/25/09 and promptly got

    "Thank you for contacting us.
    Unfortunately we have no further updates concerning your withdrawal at the moment as we are awaiting on our processor to get back to us. Rest assured that we are checking with them on a daily basis and once any further information is available we will notify you immediately via email. Thank you for your continued patience while we work to resolve this matter.

    We are always here to help you. Please feel free to reply to this email if you have any additional questions in relation to this or any other matter.

    Kind regards "



    I dont know how long the check has to become void, orginal check stated 1/7/09 but send a photocopy of the check which works as a legal check and on it dates 1/28/09

    These guys reply within 24 hours of me emailing them but thats all they do fast. The bounced check fee i got the bank of wave off.

    Is there anything i can do at this point? I figure going to the local police department would either hurt me somehow or get me no where....

    $25 USD min, $500 USD max i think
