Rutgers' side comes up a lot in your plays. Why do you think that they are undervalued?
They're obviously pretty bad, but I don't think they are as bad as some others think (ie Pomeroy has them at 245 and Sagarin at 247 in his predictor). When I sort my power ratings, I've got them right around 200, so that means that I've got them about 3-3.5 points ahead of some others, thus why they are probably popping up a lot. They are a pretty young team and I think we'll see them continue to improve as the season goes along (though they obviously haven't shown too much yet). Also a tough spot today for the Hoosiers, traveling 700 miles during the holidays to play the worst team in the Big Ten in a game that they can go through the motions in and win.

I'm usually more likely to play on a team with a big injury than fade them, but they're already a little thin and he was going to be a tough matchup today.

Iona coach: " Are they on the team? I didn't know if they were on the team or wearing uniforms as cheerleaders...I've never seen them on the court doing anything, so to me, they're not basketball players."
Also, their last meeting (last year's MAAC tourney) had plenty of controversy...
Yea, and the inevitable post-game fireworks. Though Lunardi has them both in the dance today, there isn't really much of a chance for them both to make it (best chance would be for Monmouth to run the table in the regular season then lose in the title game to Iona, but short of that, it'll be tough I think). But whoever comes out of the MAAC will give a 3/4 seed a tough game (or I guess if Monmouth keeps winning, it could be an 5/6 seed).
I was at the game with a bunch of friends, comical , was right behind mom bench ....i watched them more then the game...
good luck today
Were you close enough that you have an idea what the 1st half Technicals were for on the Iona player and King Rice?
I'm kinda sick of the whole Monmouth bench thing. It's cute and all for a little bit, but the coverage last night was brutal where they were pretty much talking more about their bench than the game itself (they certainly showed more replays of the bench than they did of the game).

The more and more I see it, the more and more douche baggy it seems. If they got T'ed up for douche-baggery, I'm not sure too many people would or could argue.
