  • (Quote) About to watch it courtside. Hope we get it. Seems like a good price.
  • (Quote) Nice line value. Your boy dan would be proud. You seem to get good line value with your early posts, yet you rarely post early. If I recall correctly, it's because you like to see the starting lineups. But by that time all the line value is…
  • (Quote) I agree, I was guessing -150. I have a Joker ticket that I was going to let ride but if they bet him up to the point where I can get Fed at +200 I’ll hedge some the other way. Fed won’t be able to attack Joker like he did Nadal, so it will …
  • Not over yet but he better find his swing off the tee very soon.
  • Sure, can't do too much harm being confined to his thread. I'll interact with him until he tells me winning doesn't matter. I'll tell him my man doesn't accept payment in CLV and then ignore him.
  • (Quote) Ask and you shall receive . . . well done
  • (Quote) Having a bet on Biden was almost as bad as having an under bet on the first London series game. When lines makers don't have mountains of historical data their lines are often not very sharp. I don't see Harris being able to beat Trump. Sh…
  • Good to hear, grass isn’t my favorite. Haven’t watched any of Fed. You mean he’s not looking as good as he normally does on grass? Apparently Rafa and Joker are not playing any warmup grass tournaments, which I think hurts them, but I guess they f…
  • 3 posted plays, all winners, and none even remotely close. Very nice.

  • After today's win over Kerber, Bencic has shown me enough on grass to back her at Wimbledon @ 28/1. Barty the favorite to win, which is amazing, but hard to argue. She has clearly been the best player in 2019. I'll always root for her.
  • (Quote) I liked him, but his continual obstinance got hard to take. He had such a hard time accepting clear answers from some very knowledgeable people, R40 included.
  • Summer has always been a quiet season, but it’s become an extra quiet season of late. I think part of it has to do with baseball being so tough to beat nowadays. I’m far from a sharp, but I used to be able to turn a profit most years. Not anymore. I…
  • (Quote) Thanks Ron. You should be good with Rafa, Mother Nature and scheduling took away Thiem’s fresh young body.
  • (Quote) Hope somebody joined me on the Barty future. That was my biggest odds hit ever, and I didn't even have to sweat it after the near catastrophe in the semis. RG continues to be a tough place for the high seeded ladies.
  • It seems like a lot of these clay court tournament lines have moved in the wrong direction. Not sure if that's actually true or just my imagination. I normally fear any significant line moves, but not so much in the clay court season, at least not t…
  • Record update?
  • (Quote) Looks to be spot on. She just lost in straights as a 5/1 favorite and the overall tournament's #1 seed, to a qualifier no less.
  • (Quote) Played that as well, unfortunately I played the opener at +130 thinking it would be bet the other way. Apparently no love for Mugu.
  • Could be, I’m not very attuned to how the clay affects players’ games. I don’t play very aggressively on anything other than hard courts. Both my leans today were losers (Stephens and Collins) but I didn’t play either. Definitely surprised by how we…
  • (Quote) The original line seemed right to me, although I am admittedly biased towards Bencic. I think she’s a top 5 player when healthy. She won Dubai and had a very good Indian Wells showing before bowing out early in Miami, presumably because of…
  • (Quote) Speaking of Barty, what do you make of her chances to win the French. I played her at 50/1 a few weeks ago. She's still at 40/1 and I was thinking of adding a bit more. Serena and Simona are the obvious favorites but they're both fighting m…
  • I guess we get lucky with Nadal withdrawing given that he's not 100%. Of course if you have tickets to the event that sucks.
  • My buddies like Fed. Hopefully it’s a good match regardless of who wins. BTW, nice bounce back from the tough start to the season. Pretty tough to watch Andreescu butcher match point at 5-3. Surprised she recovered, especially with cramps coming on.
  • (Quote) Agree, I was guessing 130 - 140 range. Fed has looked mighty good but I'll side with Nadal on slower courts.
  • Are you at or going to the tournament this year? The wind has certainly been a factor so far. I made a mental note when watching Van Uytvanck last week that she has an incredibly short backswing and would probably be a good wind player. I forgot al…
  • (Quote) Same here, and I agree that the lines have adjusted. I’ve also gotten a lot of value out of backing Kenin recently, but only after taking some lumps betting against her previously. A lot of diminutive players like her don’t get the respect …
  • (Quote) If I had that record I’d post it in a separate reply every day, and maybe even two or three times a day. In all seriousness, posting in the signature seems fine to me.
  • Trump vs. Harris would make for same major fireworks come 2020. An already polarized nation would become that much more polarized if that were to happen.
  • 30 pounds is being generous. I’d say that much over in one butt cheek. Admittedly, I loathe the woman and her “the whole world is against me” rhetoric.
  • (Quote) Totally agree. It's become either 3's or dunks, nothing in between. I swear that my old man rec league guys can shoot better from 10 - 15 feet than NBA players can because they never practice from that range. I used to love the NBA when th…
