Kane,
I know u r a Reds fan. So far this season whatta u think of Price as a manager and specifically in comparison to the departed Dusty. I watched him yesterday bring in a disinterested Chapman in a no-save situation.

Ron, it's hard for me to form an opinion on Price based on this year for two reasons. First, it's his rookie year as a manger, so I think it's only fair to give him another year or two before passing judgment, and second, the Reds have had a lot of injuries. I'd like to see how this team plays next year if all their guys are healthy. I think he's an upgrade over Dusty, and I know he'll handle the pitching staff better than Dusty, but that's not saying much. I know he was highly thought of as a pitching coach, so I was okay with the hire. Not sure what to make of the Chapman meltdown last night other than when you throw as hard as he does, sometimes the control just isn't there, Price got him out in time for the game to still be won, but it didn't work out. With as bad as things have been, it's pretty amazing that the Reds are still in the playoff hunt, but that says more about the rest of the NL being mediocre than anything.
