OT-- just a note-- you say you will use 5Dimes lines. I don't know if you use Bookmaker at all, but they are worth checking out when you bet dogs. Quite often you can pick up a few cents with their 20 cent lines. Good luck this MLB season.

You know I just realized (dUH) that I could use Pinny lines for grading purposes also for some reason that just went over my head. As for playing yes I use 5 dimes,Heritage and I have access to casino's here also. I have an account with Bookmaker but it's not funded and if I remember correctly they wouldn't let me have a free withdrawal every 30 days if I wanted. It's really a pet peeve of mine that your going to charge me to withdraw my money. I'm not one of them guys that deposit or withdraw every month it's just if I hit a certain number I like to reduce my exposure and believe me the number is not that low where I would withdraw money every month. The next time they cold call me or send me one of there countless emails which normally brings up red flags but I don't believe that's the case with them.

I'm going to ask again and if they say I can have one free withdrawal a month I'll fund that account. As long as you have dime books once in a while you do get a better price on the dog by a book that uses a 20c line. I understand exactly what your saying.

Kind of a crazy day today sorry I didn't response sooner. Don't ever thing I would blow off a post if I don't respond it's because I'm not home or doing things that take me away from the forum or just didn't notice it right away.

Thanks for the response-- and I realize people here actually have lives to attend to-- so don't expect immediate answers. Just an example-- yesterday I bet Balt +156 @ BM when it was +151 at 5Dimes. Picking up a few pennies like that sure adds up over the course of a season.

I sense that you guys are trying to fade Dickey? A better way to get at that might be the over imo. I played over 8 yesterday, it's now 8'. I'd also look into Toronto TT over. [/B]

Boy I sure nailed this one.

You need to go tout. I am a certified, bonded record keeper-- and, by my figures yesterday you were 1-0 on totals, and 1-0 on team totals.

If I were to ever tout again, maybe I should hire you as my record keeper. You turned a write up and 2 picks that went 0-2 into 2-0 for me!

That's how we keep records in most of the tout world. If anyone wants to check-- I'm a Certified Record Keeper licensed by the government of Kiribati.

Boy there's nothing like the first week of baseball, I remember the days long ago the season didn't start for me until the teams played at least 10 games think I'm getting soft in my old age. I'll tell ya what I missed was the Under on the Pitt/Cub game if anybody has that at the opener or even 7 -110 is living large. Just don't want to give up all that juice for the 7 now and 6.5 not bad tempted but can't.

OT, I was at the game this evening better football weather than baseball, Wendy looked tough breaking ball was on time. Thanks to sharing and Tommy's 1.5 on the under and that is a nice day of course I had to have my buccos when your in the stands just like Coop betting his Mets on opening day.

The guy who runs the place I do my physical therapy is from Pittsburgh and we talk Pittsburgh baseball all the time I also have a friend Larry who lives up there and is always inviting me to go see the Steelers or the Pirates. I root for the Yankees but I'm more a baseball fan and I do enjoy watching Pittsburgh play.

Two years ago they folded right after the All Star break after going in leading the division last year they folded a little later into the season This year I would like to see 84/85 Wins and then progress to an actual contender. Not saying this can't be the year but progress is expect. I liked Pitts today at -130 or lower and missed the -130 about 2 minutes before I was going to play them and pissed I missed the total so I got stubborn and passed everything in the game. First week is tough and I never concern myself with passing games. I was still happy they won.. Go Buccos!

OT, can i ask for some thoughts on the Twins play? Pelf was bad in the spring. Tough to back him with that + coming off the injury last yr. G luck.

Your right on all counts and like I said it's very tough the first 2/3 weeks baseball really nothing to go on except spring and last years stats. unless you know how he gets ready for the regular season I really don't put to much into spring training. in this case I'm sure he was just getting ready for the season and not trying to over do anything. Well I'm really not sure what he was doing.

I wish I could give you this elaborate analysis but it's the 3rd game of a new season playing in Minn in April nobody is hitting Minn will be in the Tigers bullpen by the 6th inning there weak part of the team and getting a + price at home coming off a very emotional game in a new season. Wish I could do better. To me it's worth a play. Good Luck Stack

Pitt is a couple years away but they have some good days ahead. Lots of top talent in the farm system.

Rumors are Mauer may sit. As far as I can tell he's playing the only change I see in the lineups is Leyland pulling Dirks because of swelling in the Knee. Lineups aren't up yet for the other two.

On the Red Soxs already, and was also very close to playing the Indians again. The jays are way overvalued early on based on their offseason. Myers looked great in his last Spring start. Do you have any opinion on the total at 9 in this one?

No Opinion, Almost forgot they play in a dome. Cleveland is hitting the ball well while Toronto not so much think Cleve is the better play.

Don't have time to look it up but two years ago it was a joke how much they babied him but I think last year he played 141 games need to check don't have the numbers in front of me. I know he went over his total hits last year because a friend of mind always bets over in total hits prop.
But with his body you're right they will rest him more then others so it's always worth to check.
See you guys later Good Luck in the early ones.

Fwiw Mauer pretty much plays everyday now. I am surprised he is catching today though I thought him and doumit would switch today.

Misread the line on the Detroit game by a few cents according to BT rules I missed it by 13c actually I missed it by 7c but the Cleveland game I should have realized and could here John Q talking Toronto doesn't want to get swept at home so they need and are going to win because they spent all that money and there home and then John Q goes out and bets Toronto with both hands. Hear that talk in the sports books all the time how the Home team doesn't want to get swept. This is just follow the leader. I knew I would get better as I said last night but taking +149 was a bad move on my part.

No excuse I knew I had appointments this morning and early afternoon but I knew I would be back in time. Thanks for listening just needed to vent 22c different way to much to give up. Winning or losing is irreverent. I knew even thought the Yankees are in the same situation there price would change slightly because it's really not the Yankees and I felt I would pick up a few cents as I did. My CLV really sucked today. Just feel like ranting.

You've got company. I bet Clev this morning as I would be out until after game time-- got done early-- and @#&;*%. Murphy's Law-- if you wait to bet the line always seems to go against you. Oh well-- we just won't have as much money to count as we could have had.

OT, don't beat yourself up over the line movement. The way I look at it, if you bet baseball every day, you're going to get the better of the line a bunch of times, you're going to get the worst of the line a bunch of times. I mean unless you know for sure which direction a line will go, just make your plays if there's a number you like, you liked Cle +149, so you played it, if you didn't think there was enough value, then you would have waited hoping the line goes up, obv losing 20c on a game sucks, but they'll even out, next time you'll get the 20c edge. I'm by no means telling you when to place your bets, but unless you have a lot of time to sit in front of a screen, it's tough to always get the best line.
