I am a Huge Wolves fan and live in Minnesota and watch every game.

The Wolves just played last night in Phoenix so this is a back-to-back. Al Jefferson is about 60% from his injury and played 34 minutes last night. He'll be extremely limited tonight and no doubt play many less minutes.

Our defense is terrible, ESPECIALLY our interior defense. Kaman and Camby will eat the Wolves alive. We can't stop penetration so Eric Gordon and Baron Davis will have their way with us.

I wouldn't be surprised if the Wolves shoot sub .350 as we are a terrible shooting team, and Corey Brewer is taking either the most or second most shots every game. He's a career sub .400 shooter and is (for some reason), trying to be the leader on offense. Mostly by default, I guess.

I just don't see how this ends well in any facet. The Clippers have been losing but they are at home and talented. The Wolves are terrible.

Thanks and nice write up goodluck.... i myself dont think that clippers should be laying 8 to any team... but if their is one minn.. is probably it... good luck I think the line is about right and I have no lean either way

I think the Clips are getting over valued early in the season because of positive pre-season perditions for their season this year.

Power ratings put the line at Clips –2

If Minn wins tonight they go 500 on their road trip so I would expect a little extra effort even on 1 day rest.

Early betting trends have side & money bets 70+% in favor of Minn.

    GL whichever way you go.

I like the Nets +7...I know Harris is out but Alston is a very solid backup and scored 20 last time out. The team put up over 100.

The Bobcats are bad on offense and I think 7 is way too much for them to be giving to anyone. I will take my chances with a Nets team that is hungry to get their first win of the season...if they can come anywhere clost to putting up 95 or 100 again they should cover at the very least and have a shot at teh outright win

    ClipJoint / TWolves OVER 194

Both of these squads are playing terrible defense, giving up an average of 104 ppg between the two with Minny struggling even worse on the road. Both of these teams should score well into the 90s IMO, which is about average for the season. I can see this game getting into the 200s with average amounts of fouls and decent 3 point shooting.

    OAD: 0-2 L2

Hey man you rock and I love your football advice. Just letting you know that the Wolves are one of the worst shooting teams in the league. Also, we are probably the worst 3pt shooting team in the league. I didn't check stats, but I don't think the Clippers are much better from 3pt land.

Thanks and you are right. The Wolves have stuggled behind the 3 point line this season and rank near the bottom at 28% from 3PT range. Consequently, the Clippers are one of the best at gaurding behind the 3PT line, giving up an average of 29%. But, with that said, I think this game lives and dies in the paint with Big Al, Kaman, and Camby banging all night. Quick buckets and free points off FT's pushes this one over IMO. Still waiting on Baron Davis to have that breakout game...maybe tonight.

Fair enough. And it's a somewhat low line so it has a chance to go over. The Wolves usually struggle though coming off back to backs. If it goes over it won't be from the 3pt shooting! :basketball:

But good luck if you still play it.

Also like the Knicks but I'm getting them at +2.5 (Bookmaker). Despite the fact that the Celtics won by 10, that score was deceiving as Boston kept shooting themselves in the foot all night.

I look for my boy Galinari and co. to win outright.

I'm going with the knicks ML tonight but for the threads purposes takin the +3. This is as close to a "must win" game as you can have this short a time into the season. The knicks have had 2 days to stew over their 2 OT losses. The Hornets are not what a lot of people think they are ( they think this is the 07/08 team). They are coming off a vicory on the Left coast and although they have had 3 days to get acclimated to the eastern time zone I can't help but think that they will come out a little sluggish tonight. Looking for David Lee to have a big game.

    Good luck
