bpd67, i have had it in my girlfriends name for the past 5 years, then i had her cancel last week sometime, i told them she moved out and that i need service/dtv, i seen the new permotion that they were running. Thats why i made her cancel then. then i resigned up, I just got it installed this past saturday, that is no shit, and they still gave me free shit, i dont think it really matters how long you have been with them to do this, just a FYI TO EVERYONE.

Existing customers are getting the NFL ticket and Premier package deal that they keep advertising, I think it ends tomorrow though, so call and say cancel and tell them you need something cheaper.

Nope Gater, never had anything to do with Direct TV until last October when I signed up. I just find it amusing that you can call and get credits for all kinds of stuff.
Just called and said I was dissapointed in not being able to watch opening hockey night on Versus. Bascially they are giving everyone that wants it free NHL Center Ice this year. Got it without even asking for it. He asked what I watched on Versus and I said hockey. He said I can give you the package for free. LOL

I am now hearing of people that are getting $20 off their bill for 6 months as a deal for MLB Extra Innings. $199.96 - $120 brings the package under $80 for the year. People are referencing the fact you can get MLB.tv online and roku and watch the games for less than $100.
If you are interested in MLB Extra Innings through Direct TV, call up and speak with a retention rep and ask them for the deal.
