Beware: Credit Card Info Stolen

It's never a good feeling to come home and look at your checking account online before you go to dinner and find out that you have $0.00 in your account. The bank told me that my account number was compromised and a fraud case has been filed, etc., etc.

The problem?

betus.com

So now that I am completely uncomfortable with that site, does anyone recommend a site to join? Has anyone ever encountered a problem like this from any of the sportsbooks sites you use?

Thanks

    Ok, great.

Does anyone have any recommendations on how to deposit cash? I was doing it via debit card over the internet, but obviously I do not want to do that any more?

    Thoughts? Suggestions?

I'm sorry I've just signed on and read this thread, so I"m responding late. Because so many sites have been compromised lately by hackers, the best, tried and true method is still a cash deposit. I refused the last few years to fund an account with a credit card or bank deposit. Way too much personal information is shared with the book, and your bank. Every online book still accepts Western Union, but because of legalities, they do not advertise it. Simply do it the old fashioned way. Call your book, ask for a name and country, call them with the transfer number after you do it, and within 20 mins, your account is funded. Additionally, payouts are made by them via WU, or you can still get a check. Yes, it is more expensive to do it that way, but NOBODY, or NO BUSINESS needs your personal information, OR the information needed to do an unauthorized withdrawal.

You can do money orders, with most all of these places...The fed-ex it to them..The only issue is time of course.

I still think the best way to deposit funds into an online sportsbook account is using the prepaid Visa cards sold at Walmarts and convinience stores in your neighborhood. I use bookmaker.com and they accept the "All-Access" Visa card that is sold and reloadable at my local Cumberland Farms corner store. It's 6 bucks to load the card, but I just put enough on and pull a little out here and there. Much cheaper than Western Union and much much safer then debit/credit card numbers. Just call your sports book and they'll tell you the nearest place they are sold.
