Absolutely Shocking Stat!

I went to wager line today because i was trying to tell someone that my favorite way to bet bases is to spot pick favorites in good spots where they should get the win..
Good cappers doing this can hit 66-70% throughout the year. But is that better than hitting 45-50% on underdogs?

Anyways i went to check underdog/favorite ATS and unless i got this wrong..
are you ready.........
2008 MLB<TABLE class=data cellSpacing=0><TBODY><TR><TD class=datacell>Dogs</TD><TD class=datacell>408-261</TD><TD class=datacell>60.99%</TD></TR></TBODY></TABLE>

if that is right than dog bettors should be up huge.

i'm still staring at the number. lets assume all dogs are at least +1.2
    thats +489.6 - 261.0 = +228.6 x 100$ =$22,860 for dollar bettors?????

this cant be right.. my brain must be cooked.

    The truth is out there.
I’m up huge but it’s not from the unders.
It’s from following the studs (you know who you are) on this board.

Would not doubt it. To many times in baseball that away teams are favs over home dogs because of the starting pitchrs, when in reality many games come down to the bullpen.

    Fixed.

MLB isn't like it was 10, 15 even 20 years ago anymore. How often do you see a starter go past 5,6, even 7 innings. Not often. If you are going to bet the starter, then bet the first 5 innings if you don't know anything about the bullpens.

That would be a shocking stat, but it is not even close to being right.

Those are ATS records, so +1.5 runs and in most cases you would be minus odds
