answer to matt - do sports services win?

The short answer to your question, Matt, is yes - some sports services do
win.

The long answer is much more complicated. There are several reasons why
sports services have a bad name. The big time marketers like Root, Feist,
ATS, Sturgeon, etc? are basically out for nothing more than to get you to
give them your money. You do, they lose - and they try to get you to give
them MORE money for an even stronger game - screw them.

You guys have all heard it - 80% winners, locks of the century, million
star games that are GURANTEED to win - bullshit. If these guys could hit
80%, or had games that can't lose, why would they be spending money to
market their services to you? They wouldn't. For these guys, it is easier
to cheat and lie, than to put in the long hours it takes to provide
consistent winners.

There are a handful of hardworking and honest services out there that can
help people who just do not have the time or the skills to pick winners on
their own.

If you ever find a service like that, hold on to them. You have to be
prepared for losing streaks - it happens to EVERYONE. Depending on how a
service rates their games, if they hit over 60% - they have done a great
job. If they have a good unit rating system that they explain to their
clients, and help them with money management, then a service can be
beneficial and help you win.

If anyone has any questions or comments they would like to add, I'm going
to be around today, and I would love to hear what you guys have to say.

A wise many once told me if you know what the guy looks like than he is a
    tout.

True handicappers generally do not try to draw a great deal of attention
    to themselves.

What services in basketball and football are hard-working and honest and
produce profits at the end of the year?

I think Special K is one of the best....he just charges so much. JB is
about the best there is in the NBA....always hits around 55-59% year in
and year out. Very consistent and selective.

What do you think of PPP, Dr. Bob, etc? Would love anybody's thoughts on
    some GOOD services.....

Or would you just fade people like ATS?

I'm not here to tout, but I guess I will.

We've been doing this for a long time, and have produced consistently for
    our clients.

There is a log of how many units we've won the last 6 years on our website
(last year was 239.4 units - after juice). It takes a lot of hard work
and discipline, but we work our asses off for our clients.

If you want my opinion on another service, I'll tell you that I think
Brian Mac is one of the hardest working and honest services around.
Problem is, his losing streaks can be horrendous. He also plays way too
many games (too much risked in a day for my taste).

Other than that, definetely fade Kelso Sturgeon - gotta be one of the
    worst there is.
