I just track points I use a kinda half arse system, my thought is if I can average 1 point I should be able to get about a 2% roi roughly. I think break even is about .6 points per game.
Yea the issue with that is that not all points are equal, especially in the NFL. Going from -3 to -3.5 is approximately 5%, while going from -5 to -5.5 is ~1%.
yeah but i was talking in general overall, I went back and looked at what point out of 100 games would i start to see a profit. that magic number was about .6 points
I go like everyone else 50-50 ATS and when I added a half point to 100 games I went about 52-48 ATS and when you go to .6 get to 53-47 and 1 point is like 55-45, something like that, I hope I am making sense
