Anybody know why Ill is playing at UCF tomorrow? The NIT is supposed to be at the home of the higher seed. Ice skaters in the arena???

Yes. They mentioned a conflict of interest with the arena. They would have went to Illinois St as well if they had won.
Thanks-- but, they should have gone to ISU since they are the #2 seed in the bracket, vs ISU's #1 seed. Same conflict happened to Indiana 1st round making them play a road game--- when will these schools learn they won't always be in the NCAA's, and leave their gym open for these other tourny games?
A signed and committed booking versus a maybe? C'mon, you know better.
Indiana declined the home game, said too many students were on spring break, lol.
They actually said that Assembly Hall was too good to host a NIT game. No issues sending the "student athletes" on a trip to Georgia though. Or the fact the IU women hosted a NIT game this year
