I think he was touting gold back in the day. I guess they have rules to post here, but he wasn't cluttering up this slow board.
Mostly a matter of principle. Forum is always slow during the summer. Imagine during the winter with multiple sports going on if every poster started a new thread each day. Regardless, there are more important reasons we ask posters to use pick threads (easier to find, follow, verify records, etc.)
Maybe Edward can pick it up a little and make good on previous promises to be more active here. I notice he quickly responded to an inquiry about his service.
