Ah yes, football has returned and it didn't take long to experience that first bad beat, ugh. Purdue (+7.5 line) is down 34-31 with a minute and change left in the game and QB Appleby throws his 4th INT in the game, but worse the Marshall player doesn't take a knee but rather runs it back 55 yards (!!), pretty much untouched, for the "meaningless" TD -- giving Marshall the cover. Sickening.
As I'm sure many of us know, someone might say these bad beats get evened out with "good beats" (although never heard of that phrase being used), and that selective memory only recalls the bad beats. But over the years, and trying to be as objective as possible, I seem to be on the receiving end of bad beats much more so than good beats -- this Purdue loss being a classic case.

Sorry for your loss--- but these bad beats do even out, we just forget the winners. I had both BYU on the money line, and Marshall this week.
You need to grade at -110 unless it's a shaded key number. Pinny is to be used for numbers, but not reduced vig. If you want to make things simple, you could always just use BM's lines. Thanks for understanding.
Horrible start to football season in general, no excuses. Value, by my estimation, has not been winning. But if history any judge, it should start to...

As I said yesterday, unlike my baseball season, which has been quite successful, it's been a horrible start to the football season. No excuses. I've made adjustments, hopefully I can climb out of this hole and turn profitable by season end.
