does the bitter cold and frozen turf give the offenses a big advantage.. like yesterday in pitt/balt/ ne/ and philly yesterday?

    Wondering the same thing. Only difference is that the wind typically blows harder at soldier than the ones listed above .

    I live outside of Chicago. When I got home I could not open my outside door or any of my windows or patio doors. All frozen. Coming from a short trip to a local store the wind nearly knocked me over. The 0/U is 50???? WTF!

    Unless the winds are really horrible or it is snowing inches/hour I don;t think the pure cold or turf will slow the game dramatically. The Bears have played higher scoring games all year and with McCown at QB they will score more than they did with Santa Clause, IN behind center!

    Wunderground only has 3mph wind right now at soldier field
