How about Nejim? For all of his record keeping peccadillos, he made some nice calls. He also mentioned poor health a few times.

It's been a few years since he's posted, but looks like he's visited the site as recently as today. From what I recall, he really wasn't a fan of the recordkeeping rules and they seemed to have detered him from posting.

Brillo was a hell of a handicapper, he used to love the horizon conf in bball. If the reason he left was for record keeping, its a real shame. There are some others who post who dont keep records on here today.....

This is exactly why we don't require anyone to keep records. Having guidelines to make records meaningful is beneficial. Forcing everyone to keep a record is unrealistic and heavy-handed. If anyone chooses to stop posting here because of the record keeping guidelines, that's certainly their prerogative, but it doesn't make a whole lot of sense to me personally.

Of course, I don't understand what's so dificult about following the guidelines, but I digress...

    Brillo's lifetime record:

    10-11: 12-15, -4.5*
    09-10: 169-146, +8.4*
    08-09: 67-69, -8.9*
    07-08: 340-324, -16.4*
    06-07: 358-339, -14.9*

    Lifetime:946-893, -36.3*

Maybe I'm missing something, but I guess I don't see "terrific" and "hell of a handicapper" there.

How were you able to go back to 06? The search function only goes back so far for me for some reason.

I can't get back to 06 either, but he had records posted at the end of 07 for the whole season.

Admittedly, losing only ~7.5 units/year is a far cry better than many can do on their own.
