Welcome to The Wizard's Daily Superfecta Play. The main objective to hitting a superfecta is to correctly select the exact order of the first four finishers in a race. Payoffs can vary greatly, however it is very common for the $1.00 Superfecta to return at least three to ten times more than the $1.00 Trifecta. This exciting product is a result of a new 10 cent Superfecta wager, which was instituted at Sam Houston Race Course with great success and then made its debut at the prestigious Keeneland meeting. There are many advantages to the 10 cent Superfecta wager, as it gives the player a better chance to hit a winning ticket. It allows you to add in additional horses in any of the four positions that would be beyond the comfort level of the medium sized better. The 10 cent Superfecta wager is especially potent for the bettor that structures his or her wager with "key" horses on top. In addition, the smaller total cost of the wager is less likely to result in the winning player being required to pay income tax at the time the ticket is cashed. IRS regulations force the requirement that witholding taxes be deducted from winning wagers above a certain size. The fractional nature of the 10 cent Superfecta means that players are less likely to reach that threshold level.
BrisBET and TsnBET.com both take the dime superfecta wager online or by phone for Delaware Park, Hawthorne, HOLLYWOOD PARK, & MEADOWLANDS!

</TD></TR><TR><TD> </TD></TR><TR><TD>Each year the Breeders’ Cup Sprint features some of the fastest horses in the country, with plenty of early speed lined up in the shortest of the eight races on the Breeders’ Cup program. Some would assume with the amount of early speed in this race that it will set up for a closer, but recent history proves that horses with early foot must be respected. Some of the winners of the Sprint that had the lead after a half mile were Cajun Beat, Artax, Reraise, and Desert Stormer, and all had the lead turning for home and won as the speed of the speed. This year # 6 BORDONARO hopes to follow in their footsteps as the fleetest sprinter of his field. The California home-bred gelding by Memo began his year in the six furlong Sunshine Millions, where he proved his ability to win outside of his home base with a determined victory. He was outside of a three-horse battle for the early lead with fellow California breds Thor’s Echo and Areyoutalkntome through a torrid :21.55 first quarter. The latter could not keep up with that early pace as he weakened to finish ninth, and his stablemate hung tough with the post time favorite through fractions of :43.66 and :55.59 before tiring to finish fourth. Bordonaro opened up past mid-stretch and held off the opportunistic rally of the longshot Tacirring to win by three quarters of a length.

Bordonaro had not raced for almost three months when he shipped to Oaklawn Park for the G3 Count Fleet Stakes, where he once again was up to the task of a head and head battle for the lead as he contested the pace with Friendly Island through splits of :21.70, :44.26, and :56.22. Those two alternated for the lead through the first five furlongs before Bordonaro pulled clear in the final furlong to win going away.

With two wins at the BC Sprint distance, both occurring after intense speed duels, Bordonaro was given another freshening to point for the G1 Bing Crosby Handicap, a race that resulted in one of the most bizarre calls I have seen this year. He was out-sprinted for the early lead as long shot Premium Saltine was pushed out of the gate, intent on making the lead, forcing jockey Alex Solis to stalk or press the early pace down the backstretch. They moved up three wide to attack that hot early pace around the far turn, battled with the winner into the stretch, but Bordonaro was hit by rival jockey Jon Court’s whip at mid-stretch. That caused him to throw his head up, and after that he seemed reluctant to try to pass Court’s mount, Pure as Gold, perhaps scared of being hit a second time. He gamely held second, and there is reason to believe that the incident may have compromised his chance to win.

Displeased with the result, trainer Bill Spawr opted to take on Pure as Gold again in the G1 Ancient Title two months later at Santa Anita. Bordonaro was reunited with Patrick Valenzuela, and the result saw those two team up for their fourth consecutive win together. He popped out of the gate right on top to set the pace with his closest purser, Thor’s Echo, a length back after a opening quarter in :21.52 seconds. He received pressure from the latter approaching the far turn through a half mile in :43.88 seconds and gamely fended off his bid through the stretch to win by a length, with Thor’s Echo another 5-3/4 lengths back in second.

Each of Bordonaro’s three wins this year featured him setting or dueling for the lead through fractions that were the fastest of any sprint on their respective cards, and he comes into the Sprint fresh, as this will mark only his fifth start this year, and his second off a freshening. No rider is able to get this horse out of the gate better than Patrick Valenzuela, and he will provide the three year old Henny Hughes with his biggest challenge yet. Bordonaro is one of those sprinters that can run hard and fast early, middle, and late. His connections have decided to supplement him to the sprint, which indicates that they feel Bordonaro came out of his last race in excellent shape, and he has trained well since.
