We dominate that conference like no other. 11-2 the last 2 years,
personally knocked out 1/3 of the teams they sent to the postseason, and
the last 3 championships we've won were against SEC teams. Just imagine
how good this Longhorn staff might have been if we hadn't lost our best
pitcher before the season even started.

Now, all of a sudden you had a Texas bet to win the series from the
beginning? And it is REALLY hard to believe, because you bet against Texas
in the 1st round when they played Baylor. So which is it? And you got
Texas at (+850)?!?!?! I never saw them higher than (+580). But if you
didn't actually make the bet, I guess you wouldn't know that.
You disrespected Texas since the Austin regional, and they made you PAY,
literally. And don't give me this crap about top 2 pitchers. We faced
nothing but 1st rounders in games 1-3 and won all of those. What if the
Horns had had their ace since February? And yes, LeCure was still taken in
the 4th round, even though he didn't throw a single pitch all year. He's
that good.
Don't worry about us. All 3 starters that threw in the CWS are back, as is
our entire outfield. We've been 32 times, won 78 games and 6 titles. I
think the Longhorn program is going to be ok.
And yes, we OWN the SEC. I knew my Horns had it won as soon as Nebraska
lost and we got by Baylor. Florida's light-hitting lineup was never going
to be able to score enough runs to beat Texas. If we had only scored 1, we
would have found a way to win 1-0. The SEC is overrated in every sport,
but ESPECIALLY in baseball.

Every conference in the Nation wants to be the SEC. They have the best of
everything. They might not have the best Team every year but top to bottom
NO ONE can touch them. Its funny how the Big12 always calls the SEC
overrated but the SEC never says anything about the Big12. One other thing
and this says it all....all 9 SEC Teams made the finals of the Regional
they were in. Do you really believe A&M, Texas Tech, OSU and KState would
have done the same. We already know Missouri didnt. Texas was awesome and
played great in Omaha BUT just because Texas is succesful doesn't make the
Big12 that special.

Gee, that would have nothing to do with the fact that we didn't get 3/4 of
our conference invited to postseason play, would it? We got 60% of our
teams to Omaha, while the SEC got 22% of theirs in. Every single SEC team
was either a #1 or a #2 seed, and you could only get 3 out of the 1st
round? That's a joke.
That's the definition of overrated. Sure, the SEC has some good teams.
Matter of fact, Ole Miss was probably the 2nd best team in the nation. I
have a ton of respect for those guys. They just got screwed because the
committee didn't want to give the Big XII 3 national seeds. But other than
women's basketball, the SEC is overrated in every single sport.
