Guys, if you haven't figured it out I am a liberal, but not in the sense
of bias. I feel horrble about the way that the Democratic Party presents
themselves. There are things that I am closer to in the "moderate sector"
and even in the Independents and Republican Party... what I truly am is a
humanitarian, first and foremost... I hate Partisan Politics, divisions
based on party affiliations that have nothing to do with the desires of
the district that the politictians represent... the most unfortunate thing
I see on a daily basis is that we have allowed our servicemen and women to
die for all the wrong reasons. If anyone can rationalize this war based on
the ways we went in to Iraq, then bring it on. THERE IS ZERO JUSTIFICATION
FOR THIS ATTACK. Anyone beside me know how close this is becoming to
Vietnam? Care to discuss the lack of WMD's as promised? Care to discuss
the Osama Bin Laden reasoning? Where the fuck is he? Care to discuss why
G.H.W. Bush Sr. gave funds and support to Saddam in 1986? Who started this
shit? WE DID. How does a country as strong as the US end up as a weak
sister? Look at how we are percieved in the world today and that's why the
Twin Towers were hit. We are aggressors where we have F**ed UP and now we
pay the pricve. DO NOT ACCEPT FOX NEWS AS YOUR SAVIOUR.

The greatest thing about this all is that we are educated enough to form
our own opinions and have the luxury of expressing them at any time we
feel we should. No one says that anyone is perfect, especially in
politics. The fact is that there are so many special interest groups that
have created animosity and chaos between the two main parties. In a sense
GW has blundered big time with the whole Iraq situation, but I also feel
that there is a method to the madness. There are bigger things that we as
regular John Q do not understand in world politics, just as a politician
would have no clue how to spot a trap bet when it comes to betting a
sport. (bad analogy I know, but it makes the point). From everything you
have done and posted in here you are a stand up guy who does not have to
apologize to anyone for your beleifs. Who knows what course is
appropriate, but war and international crisis are no longer cut and
dried. I have faith in the powers at be that they are making hard
decisions now that will benefit every one of us in the future.

No WMD. We were lied to.
Horrible post war planning. No exit strategy.
    Our military is over extended.
We created strong anti-USA sentiment worldwide, even with some of our
    closest allies.
We created a breeding ground and more motivation for new terrorists.
We are less safe than before the war.
    Our soldiers are dying.

Republican's are getting elected because people don't want gay's to be
able to marry or for women to have the right to choose. There are so many
more important issues out there. I hope people wise up.

the Christian Coalition, then tip a cup for me. the only "Kool-Aid" is the
crap they feed the public, wrapped around the flag. PEOPLE ARE DYING FOR
    NOTHING. MAKE SENSE OF THAT.

I am, and was at the start against the invasion and occupaton of
Iraq..like Howard Dean used to say: If he ( and we ) could see that Iraq
was no threat to us and had no wmd's- he couldn't understand why this
administration could not see it..well they didn't want to see it....

Onto his speech tonight..I think he told more Lies....I mean there were no
"insurgents" in Iraq before we invaded, there were no "terrorists" or
Al-Qaeda there, and Saddam does not qualify, even if a few were terrified
of him, as some neocons claim a "terrorist" must be a "non-state"
actor....now that is not my definition...just what some neocons are
claiming.....he wants to stamp out "evil"...
well he need to look no further than Aruba
where you find the Police Chief is the "god-father" to one of the 3
suspects still in jail, and the Ministry of Justice =judiciary official,
told his son, and primary suspect, to not say "anything"..They weren't
arrested or cars or homes searched until 10 days later, then when put in
jail the 3 suspects were kept together..I guess so they could keep their
alibis intact and alike..they are still telling lies and it looks like the
Aruba justice officials don't want to find a body, and those involved were
gven plenty of time to bury her at sea...no body, no trial...neat
    huh...what a disgrace..Aruba owes allegance to the Netherlands--the home
of "The Hague", the so-called legal capital of the world--though I think
it may be somewhat of a "farce", in Milosovecs case at least....

Bush said it's his job to protect American citzens...well start right
    there in Aruba,
threaten them with sanctions, ban travel and show them an aircraft carrier
    if necessary, if
they don't stop covering up and get to the
bottom of what appears to be murder or maybe
accidental death during "date/rape" it's still
murder..Bring our troops back asap and put
enough on the Mexican border to stop the illegal invasion, and the
    Canadian for that
matter, keep the "gay" couples up there where they belong....

    I love politics....

Liberals = be nice to everyone else and they will be nice to us.

Conservatives = some are evil and have to be defeated.

One is based on reality and one is a pipe dream.

    It's not complicated.
