which war should I be supporting? The pointless one in Iraq or the half-assed one we're fighting Afghanistan? Or should I be supporting the one we're SUPPOSED to be fighting in SAUDI ARABIA? You can't stand people that don't think Bush is fighting the "war on terror" the right way. And I can't stand people who can't seem to understand the war on terror has nothing to do with Iraq, where an elitist who wanted nothing to do with terrorists was running the country with no WMDs. No Iraqis were among the hijackers in any of the 9/11 attacks. No Iraqis have ever been part of any Al Qaeda attack in any foreign lands. Had we been fighting the war on terror right, we may not have had the attacks we did today. All we've done is stoke anger and improve recruitment while fueling radical Islam anger at the West.

Im not going to get into this in depth because I feel like you could argue your point and I could argue mine and in the end we would both still think we were right. I feel that if we as a nation sit back and dont go after people like Saddam and others that are completely Anti-USA then we will continue to have problems with them. What happened today might or might not have anything to do with the USA. Im not sure if anything we ever did or could have done had any outcome on todays result. I would rather us go over to countries like Iraq, saudi, etc and do a little fighting to show them that we are willing to. Sometimes you dont have to actually kill thousands of people or take over a country to show that you can. I think now many of those countries in the middle east know that we will come over there if we have to. Im not aware of anything major that has happened in the US in the last few years as far as Terriorist go. But I do see this shit happening in other countries all the time. You brought up that you think we should be in one country compared to another. Im not sure I disagree with that completely. Its hard to say whether being in one is that much better than being in the other. But I know that no matter which country we go to war with, people in the USA are going to bitch and complain that it is wrong. Bush is our leader, we elected him. If he wants to blow up yankee stadium then its on my shoulders as well as his. We the voting citizens of the USA put him in office, whether you voted for him or not. So, Ill stand behind him. Im not saying that your opinion is wrong, but just pointing out that everyone has an opinion- But as I see you are clearly a democrat, do you wonder what Gore would have done in the same spot, after 9/11- because clearly that was the down fall to all the "Wars" because Kerry would have to finish the operations in iraq if he had won! It is all politics and it comes down to supreme courts ruling on votes caculated in Florida! Which is ironic because now Bush will have is paw print there too- replacing a key member that gave him the white house! it doesnt matter if you voted for bush, I voted for bush, etc. All that matters if the way we elect a president, the entire US elected him. If you want to blame it on florida or ohio then go ahead. But if many of the other states voted differently then florida and ohio wouldnt matter as much as they do. We as a nation elected pres. Bush. If you dont like him, deal with it. If you dont like how we vote or dont feel like being pro-america, take a hike. I just said that I helped put him in office, so anything he does as the leader of this nation is on me and it is on him. Just like clinton. I didnt vote for clinton, but I accept the things that he did while in office as my own. I, as the voting public, helped put him in office. If I didnt like him and his decisions, I should have done more to make sure he didnt get in. As for saying you can leave the country if you dont like it. Well sure it is radical, but you can. Just as I can if I dont agree with the government. Or I can sit around and bitch 24/7. Ill choose to support the president in whatever it is that he wants to do. Let me break it down for you in layman's terms. When your country is attacked by Bin Laden and his network, your NO. 1 priority should be to after Bin Laden and his network. NOT somebody who else who MIGHT attack (even though he doesn't have means to do so). The majority of the focus should be on Bin Laden, his network and the COUNTRIES they come from. DID THIS HAPPEN? The answer is no. You cannot say Saddam had bad intentions. What we as Americans should want to know is who has bad intentions and MOST IMPORTANTLY - WHO CAN ACT UPON THEM? There is no way to say the war in Iraq was not a mistake of global magnitude. Al-Qaeda attacks between 1992 WTC to 9/11 are nowhere near the amount of Al-Qaeda attacks from 9/11 to present. Does that lead you to believe we're fighting the war on terror correctly?

Im not sure of any terriorist attacks in the USA since 9/11. Im sure Im wrong so please fill me in. If you think Gore or kerry or anyone other democrat would do better, please stop bitching and go out on your street corner and start holding up signs later this afternoon. started off well minutes after the trade center bombing as Bush's administration protected and helped all of Bin Laden's family that were located in our country safely home. As all of our commercial aircrafts were grounded we privately got his family out of the country. Needless to say, Cheney was in Washington meeting with some Saudi's and the Halliburton cronies and got them safely out as well. I support the war, but not our adminstration. Religion and politics are like oil and water to me, and to all that support these religous freaks is fucked up; we are living in dangerous times.

is that we are going to go from a totalitarian style of leadership to the complete and polar opposite. I can just see our next Democratic leader coming in and kissing everyone's asses while giving away money we don't have to the "poor and unfortunate" and releasing every drop of our petroleum reserves on the domestic market. I'm not taking sides, because Bush is a complete idiot who has no business leading a nation as powerful as ours. It's just that the Democratic party has run out a bunch of losers lately that are about as far from "Presidential" as you can get. I only voted for Bush because I thought he was the lesser of 2 evils (although I may have been wrong). I do agree that we need to find a diplomatic way to withdraw our troops. It doesn't matter if we do it 10 days from now, or 10 years from now, the insurgents are going to claim victory just as the North did in Vietnam. Body counts and battles won't support that notion, but Bush needs to accept that that's just the way it is. Shedding more American blood over there is going to do nothing but strengthen their recruitment and solidify their resolve.
