for years the day after the induction ceremony (monday), a national league <br>team and an american league team used to play in doubleday field in the <br>early afternoon. i went to about 12 games and inductions while my <br>families( mine and my aunts and uncles, we all had gentleman farms and <br>leased the lands out to tenant farmers) lived in cooperstown in the summer,<br>i looked at the schedule for today and doubleday has some kids hitting <br>clinic with a few past hall of famers. what ever happened to the monday <br>game? thanks

I think the players union had something to do about it.teams cannot play a <br>certain number of days in a row without an off day.the fans get screwed <br>again.w2w
